Description

In this debut episode of Shoujo Sundae, Giana and Chika break down Episodes 1 and 2 of Maid Sama!, reflecting on the themes, positive aspects, bad moments, and even some of their hot takes. If you like strong, take-charge female characters, you’re going to love this anime! And if you love talking about anime and manga, you’re invited to grab a snack or drink, cozy up, and tune in to join the fun!
Misaki Ayuzawa, the lead character of the story, is a 16-year-old girl and the first female student council present at Seika High, a previously all-boys high school. Misaki is known for her extremely bossy and strict attitude towards boys and her relentless attempts to reform them to follow more acceptable standards of behavior (which is much needed for these boys!). She does this all while trying to support her family by secretly working at a maid café called Maid Latte.
Misaki truly makes Giana want to be a better person and makes Chika appreciate her teenage experience. It also really shows how we’re all just girls in progress! Stay tuned to hear Giana and Chika give some sweet and spicy confessions you won’t want to miss!
