Description

Episode 71 with Sivan Hong.
"After my diagnosis, I felt anger and sadness and joy all at the same time because it explained so very much."
Sivan’s career spans over two decades in several industries and professions, including holding esteemed positions as a professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business and former partner at The Bridgespan Group.
Sivan lives in Connecticut with her husband and their two neurodiverse sons, and is the author and illustrator of the Super Fun Day Books, a children’s book series that includes:
“Benny J. and the Horrible Halloween”
“George J. and the Miserable Monday”
“Emily D. and the Fearful First Day”
Her inspiring picture books focus on neurodiverse children who overcome their challenges with perseverance and bravery. (And big congratulations are in order to Sivan, because “George J. and the Miserable Monday” recently hit #1 on Amazon in its genre!)
We talk all about parenting neurodiverse kids while being neurodiverse moms, and we also discuss some of the unique difficulties faced by ADHD women when it comes to balancing careers and motherhood.
