Description
Episode 51 with Tessa MacKay.
"People with any kind of neurodivergence can just feel it in each other. It’s like sparks happen."
Tessa MacKay paints contemporary realism and large-scale hyperrealism portraiture and is based in Perth, Western Australia.
Despite being diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD from an early age, she only recently started to embrace and work on the kind of quirks that are associated with ADHD in women.
We talk all about introversion and the emotional intensity of the creative process as a neurodivergent artist, as well as the inevitable imposter syndrome.
And we also talk about neuroplasticity training and her lifelong journey to learn to read analog clocks.
