Description

Episode 73 with Cate Osborn (aka Catieosaurus)
"Neurodivergent people are told over and over again that they’re too much, or too loud, or that they need to be a certain way that they just fundamentally are not."
Cate (aka Catieosaurus) is a certified sex educator and full-time content creator known for her frank conversations about living life with ADHD, depression, and chronic pain — all while sporting a fabulous array of eyewear.
She currently has about 2 million combined social media followers, and her work focuses on funny, honest conversations about ADHD, disability awareness, and advocacy in sex and the neurodivergent experience, especially within the kink community.
She is also an avid gamer and player of DnD. As a professional streamer and TTRPG influencer, she is passionate about opening conversations about neurodiversity and accessibility into the gaming community.
And she’s the co-host of the delightful podcast Catie & Erik’s Infinite Quest, where she and her partner Erik talk about life with ADHD and depression, and navigating life as neurodivergent adults. And they also play ADHDnd.
Catie and I talk about sex and neurodivergency, as well as Emily Nagoski's seminal book, Come As You Are. We also discuss chronic overwhelm and burnout as ex-gifted kids, and the prescience of the TikTok algorithm. Catie also offers up a fantastic analysis of the “ADHD is a superpower” narrative, which you will love.
