EPISODE 5 One of the most important and underutilized instructional practices for reading comprehension is strategy groups. The target practice can be used with all students to give them confidence and independence for applying strategies while reading. That's the point right?    I actually accidentally stumbled upon using this method while teaching fourth grade and it soon became an intentional part of my reading block. In fact, I was conducting strategy groups whenever I had the chance!
