Description
Episode 36 is here! We talk to The Welsh Runner about his recent trip to Kenya and his life as a producer of running content. There are all the usual weekly recaps, we answer four listener questions about marathon training (Josh to our surprise contributes with another solid answer), and Clowesy delivers Weston's wise words about running pain thresholds if you've got red hair. Thanks to COROS wearables for supporting the show again this week, they provide technology to the likes of Eluid Kipchoge, to find out more information head over to uk.coros.com.
Josh has had an interrupted week thanks to Covid, and only manages to get in some easy running once he is feeling a bit better. He talks us through his ability to recover from a half marathon and drops an exclusive about his living arrangements for the rest of the year.
Matt has some bad news delivered, in the form of four small tears to various parts of his right lower leg. He discusses his week of eliptical training and ponders whether he can make a splint of some sort to allow him to drive to work - pretty sure the discussion offers some options that are legal and safe...
Aaron has recorded the most volume in a long while and tops the mileage this week amongst the hosts. He's spent most of it indoors on his Noble Pro and has been jet setting across the world for his easy runs, much to Clowesy's delight on Strava. He also discusses his first marathon type long run in a long while, which goes far better than he ever expected.
Thanks for listening, have an alright week everyone.
