Description

This is probably our most ambitious episode yet. This week, we create a bracket of 16 of North America's greatest cryptids, pitting them against each other to determine who's the best! Think Pokemon... from hell!
Our contestants: jackalope, chupacabra, mothman, manipogo, Ozark Howler, wendigo, skinwalker, thunderbird, snallygaster, Jersey Devil, hodag, sasquatch, waheela, frogmen, Beast of Busco, and the squonk.
The rules are quite simple, to advance to the next tier a monster needs a minimum of two votes from the three hosts. We do our best to give you the history and abilities of each monster.  We also plan to do a Cryptids of the World episode, so if you have recommendations, please send them to slasherspod@gmail.com.
This week's "Hidden Track" is Deathlist with their song Your Body Falls. Please support our friends by checking out all of their savory jams on https://deathlist.bandcamp.com/ If you ever have feedback or recommendations on future episodes, please let us know at slasherspod@gmail.com.
