Portion sizes at fast-food restaurants are three times larger than they were in 1950!   Could it be that our obsession with eating out is actually making us sick and die younger? It may sound extreme, but given all of the fat, salt, sugar, and sodium being served, it is fair to wonder whether what you order is taking years off of your life.   Dr. Vanita Rahman and Matthew Rees, editor of the Food and Health Facts newsletter and senior fellow at the Dartmouth Tuck School of Business, have the facts to back up that argument. They make the case that restaurants are playing an enormous role in the obesity epidemic when they join “The Weight Loss Champion” Chuck Carroll.
