Description

On today’s episode, we sit down with David London, Vice President of Public Policy & Politics at TechNet. Inspired by the internet boom of the '90s, David moved from Washington, D.C. to California to pursue a career in government affairs and the tech industry. David talks to us about his career path and the issues affecting the tech world.   TechNet is the national, bipartisan network of technology CEOs and senior executives that promotes the growth of the innovation economy by advocating in support of a targeted policy agenda at the federal and 50-state level. David is a native of Washington, D.C. He started his career in politics working for the Maryland Democratic Party David went on to work for Maryland State Senator Ulysses Currie. Following the internet boom, David moved to California and briefly worked for the Valley Transportation Authority. David then went on to work for Cisco, where he spent the next two years in customer advocacy. David’s next career move came when his former boss at Cisco offered him a job at eBay. He spent the next twelve years there in various roles. Following his time at eBay, David briefly worked for a startup, and then moved on to his current role at TechNet. Help us grow!
