The Sunrise calendar application found its way into the mobile market by making your calendar more interactive and useful. Its founder believes that the calendar should be more than just your daily schedule and can be more productive. Apparently, enough users agree to get Sunrise to be valued at $100 million dollars. Microsoft agreed also and acquired Sunrise as part of the Microsoft play to grab a larger chunk of the mobile market.
