Description

Film Kid Asks is the podcast by film students for aspiring filmmakers. It centres the conversation around what we want to know going into the industry by digging into the origin stories and experiences of professionals working in film.
Episode fifteen is a conversation with writer, director, and actor Hannah Cheesman. You can see her in Schitt’s Creek, and Star Trek: discovery. She’s written on shows like Workin’ Moms and Find me in Paris, and she has directed several short films, as well as her debut feature The Definites. Her film Succor is premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival. We discuss her thoughts on writing for comedy, working with actors, and writing in different circumstances and arenas, among other things.
New episodes come out every Saturday.
Hosted by Jordan Harvey, edited and produced by Anya Chatterjee
