In this video, I’ll talk about two causes of tingling and numbness in your hands and feet. The first one is a vitamin B1 deficiency. This usually occurs because of consuming a lot of refined carbohydrates and sugars. If you’re pre-diabetic or diabetic, you’re likely to have a B1 deficiency. In this case, you want to consume the type of B1 called benfotiamine that’s fat-soluble instead of water-soluble, so the B1 will penetrate the fat layer around the nervous system, called the myelin.
If you have severe symptoms, take four benfotiamine doses spread out over the day. If you have mild symptoms, take one per day.
The second cause of numbness and tingling could be a calcium deficiency. You want to take calcium aspartate anhydrous because about 98 percent of it absorbs into your body. It goes in like a rocket ship and really helps you.
How do you know if you have a B1 deficiency or a calcium deficiency? Here are the symptoms of a B1 deficiency: you’ll feel nervous, have poor memory, experience racing thoughts, elevated heart rate, restless legs, and nightmares.
The symptoms of a calcium deficiency are leg cramps, weak nails, fatigue, spasm in your larynx, lowered mood, osteoporosis, twitches, and black and blue spots.
