In this podcast, I'm going to talk about keto and veganism. I'm also going to give you my opinion on "The Game Changers" movie.
My viewpoint is, if you want to go vegan, you should do it. I have no problem with that. The only challenge I see is if you do it unhealthily.
My ultimate goal is to get people to eat real food. The problem is defining what real food means. Essentially, as long as you're getting your nutrients and your fuel—you're eating food.
It can be difficult to get all of your nutrients being vegan. Nutrients like:
 • Zinc, iron, calcium
 • DHA
 • B12
 • Vitamin D
As long as you're getting all of your nutrients and your getting high-quality protein, you can be a vegan and be perfectly healthy.
If you're trying to lose weight, you have insulin resistance, you're prediabetic, or you're diabetic, it can be more difficult to be a vegan.
Dirty keto - doesn't emphasize vegetables
Healthy keto and intermittent fasting - emphasizes vegetables (more vegetables than many vegan diet plans)
There are both unhealthy versions of keto and unhealthy versions of veganism. The bottom line is to make sure you're getting all of your nutrients.
