The episode may be a tad long-winded, but that's because there is alot we needed to learn about clean & dirty smoking... the difference between actually grilling & pellet grillers, and the Texas-Q revolution, taking over the country... state by state.... after we sat down to talk all things food & life, Daniel dubbed Owlbear BBQ (on Larimer St in RiNo) one of the best Q spots in town, and we had to know why... so half we thru, we sit down with Karl, Pitmaster of Owlbear... and let Daniel drag him over his coals about his inspiration, how he got his Q knowledge and how he gets his meats so tender.
