Description

The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly forum on neutralizing Workplace Racism. The reason for this broadcast is to boost non-white people's problem-solving skills and refine how black people think, speak, act and control emotions while at work. Any listeners who've uncovered the best tactics to minimize conflict with White and/or non-white co-workers, stear clear of demotions, write-ups, terminations or other violence we experience in Racist work environments should be first to dial in with particulars. We always value the observations of "black entrepreneurs;" please, share with us how being "self-employed" improves your labor experience. The past few months have been saturated with discussion of sexual harassment in the workplace. Although White Women have been the default victims of sexual violence, unwanted touching, rape, and molestation in the workplace have been problems for Black females and males for centuries - dating back to the cotton fields. One might be able to use the current environment to address sexual abuse in your own workplace. We'll review counter-racist suggestions from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work history. Gus suggests Victims of Racism write down critical workplace episodes. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more reliable than memory, and the act of documenting can clarify your thinking. We'll also ask that non-white listeners share significant portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#
