The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In 03/23/24. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS The six White members of Rankin County Mississippi's "Goon Squad" were sentenced this week for their part in sexually terrorizing and shooting a pair of black males, Michael Jenkins and Eddie Parker, last year. The Race Soldiers received sentences ranging from 10 to 40 years respectively - although they could have received the death penalty for committing these crimes "under the color of law" - meaning practicing White Supremacy while wearing a police badge. The sentencing happened about a week after a Pearl, Mississippi enforcement official, Racist
Suspect Michael Green, was accused of forcing a black male to lick urine from the jail floor. And all this was beautifully timed for the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which happens every March 21st. Gus saw a lot more fanfare and jubilee for St Patrick's Day and (White) Women's History Month.
