Don Gately is the principal at Jericho Middle School on Long island in New York. Jericho Middle School has a comprehensive school-wide program to develop academic and social emotional literacy; the school was named a New York State/National School to Watch in 2009 by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Level Reform. Nancy Blair is a school improvement consultant and cohost of Edchat. Jerry Blumengarten taught for 30 years as a teacher librarian for the New York City School System.
