Description
The Geocacher known for the "Totally Tubular" hides joins us for Beta.46. Dayspring's series includes;
Totally Tubular! (GCNDTN)
Totally Tubular II (GCNYKE)
Totally Tubular III (GCP9G9)
Totally Tubular IV (GCQ88R)
Totally Tubular IV (GC12FGE)
Totally Tubular IV (2) (GCWQET)
Totally Tubular V (GCR0TZ)
Totally Tubular VI (GCR2NY)
Totally Tubular VII (GCRXY4)
Totally Tubular VIII (GCW9Y6)
We also heard from several Cachers about last week's GSAK & PQs episode. NoNameYet202 called in about his "autoupdater" macro. TheWinterTrio emailed to suggest working with fellow cachers (including the GSAK forums) and using the "PlacedPQ" macro to help select the date for your PQs. searchjaunt suggested GSAK users who want to take their GSAK databases into the field look at "GDAK," "GSAK addon for Locus," or "IGeoKnife." Our last bit of GSAK feedback came from Hakuin who suggested Mac Users might look at "iCaching" as a native alternative to GSAK. This weeks contributors were entered into the holiday giveaways. Thanks to Magellan, listeners all over the world have the chance to win an eXplorist GC. Brand 44 Colorado was also kind enough to provide a Geomate.jr with Update Kit, Geomate Large Log Cache, and a Geomate Gnome Cache for those within North America. Along with those four awesome gifts, the hosts of the GeoGearHeads will be pitching in a few items themselves to be given away through a drawing on Episode Beta.48 (November 29, 2012) (details available here). The live video session from this Google+ Hangout On Air can be found on YouTube.
