For the one-hundred sixty-second edition of the GeoGearHeads the panel (debaere, TheGCDoc, The Bad Cop, and DarrylW4) talks over several subjects from the audience and news. The discussion kicked off with a question about GSAK from Misha. Next was a question on trackable visualization from PatientRock. Aside from the Geocaching.com tools they panel also suggested checking out geotrib.es. Then it's on to the news with a story from Engadget about Engergizer's first high-performance battery made with recycled batteries – EcoAdvanced. Next was the Engadget articles about Garmin's new Vivoactive, Fenix 3, and Epix. Nighthawk700 shared the Skink GPS Android app which allows Pebble watch users to navigate with their watch. Engadget's "This power pack can charge your iPhone 6 in 15 minutes" post generated some discussion about rapid charging. And of course we talked with TheGCDoc about winning the MichelinQuest contest.
