scottberks (of "Geocaching Podcast") joins The Bad Cop and DarrylW4 to discuss live streaming of geocaching adventures for the two hundred eighth edition of the GeoGearHeads. Some of the live streaming apps discussed were Periscope, Meerkat, Katch (this archives live feeds from the previous two but doesn't stream live), UStream, Facetime, Hangouts, and Skype. coon&bud submitted the "Periscope Marketing Tips From Broadcast Pros" article and asked a couple questions (Darryl mentioned his Foneso Extendable Selfie-portrait Aluminum Monopod Stick in response to one of those). Mark of the "Oh Beep!" podcast shared a couple of blog posts titled "More Tips For Periscoping and Geocaching" and "Tips for Periscoping and geocaching." Darryl referred to the Gizmdo post "Meerkat and Periscope Can Really Chew Through Your Precious Data" about the data usage of these apps. Scott talked about Periscoping from the "Martin-Baker" (GC2PW84) geocache in an F-14. Then the Periscope accounts for the panel are;
