This book is about God’s promises. When we present God’s Word back to Him in the form of prayer, He is faithful to answer. In 1990, as Addie was reading her Bible, one particular passage of scripture spoke to her heart.). 13 “I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.” (Genesis 9:13-17)
As she began to meditate on these scriptures, she noticed a rainbow in the sky which was confirmation to her that God was leading her to begin to write out His promises in the form of prayers and confessions. During the years of 1990, she has followed the leading of the Holy Spirit by collecting these prayers in the hopes and faith that they will be helpful to many.
As a result of seeking God’s purpose for her life between the years of 1990 through 2004, Addie’s outreach ministry has fed and clothed thousands of homeless people in her city. She left her job and opened a homeless shelter for men who were homeless and experiencing addiction. She was strongly supported by her church until the time God began to move her in a different direction. As Team Leader for intercessory prayer, she also developed an intercessory prayer instruction manual. She continues to do outreach ministry as opportunities present themselves. Addie has compassion for the lost who need to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior so that they can experience the love and abundant life that His death secured for the world.
God declared His House would be called a House of Prayer.

THANKSGIVING/ EXHORTATION PRAYER

Wonderful Father, in Jesus’ Name, we thank You for our family relationships.

Lord, we thank You for fulfilling Your plans and purposes in our lives and for surrounding us with Your favor like a shield. Thank You for providing safety and protection for our families. Thank You, Father, for Your love and compassion. Thank You for blessing me and my family to continue to prosper in every area of our lives. Thank you for prospering us spiritually, physically, financially, and psychologically in Jesus’ Name.

Awesome Father, we give thanks to You for Your wondrous works declare that Your Name is nearby. Lord, we thank You for salvation, the greatest miracle of all. Thank You for Your eternal love and unmerited grace. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to break the power of the devil and to bring us hope, health, and healing. Thank You for the Holy Spirit who leads, guides, and comforts us. Lord, You are good and Your mercy endures forever.

Glorious Father, You merely spoke and the heavens were created You breathed the word, and all of the stars were born. You assigned boundaries to the seas and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. Let the whole world fear You and let everyone stand in awe of You! For when You spoke, the world began! It appeared at Your command. You are great and most worthy of praise. You are to be feared above all gods. Lord, we praise You with our whole hearts. We will tell of all Your marvelous works. We will be glad and rejoice in You; we will sing praises to Your Name.

Our Father, You are a great God, and a great King above all other gods. You are our God and we are the people of Your pasture, and the sheep of Your hand. Lord, You are our source and in You do we place our trust. We praise Your Name forever and ever, for You possess all wisdom and power. You control the course of world events. You remove kings and set up other kings. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. You reveal deep and mysterious things and know what lays hidden in darkness, though You are surrounded by light. The earth is Yours, and everything that is in it; the world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Father, we bless Your Holy Name. We will proclaim Your unfailing love in the morning and Your faithfulness in the evening. As the heavens are high above the earth, so great is Your mercy toward those who fear You.

We cry out with a loud voice, Thanks be to our Father God in the matchless name of JESUS we pray. AMEN.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. For Thou O LORD is a shield for us You are the glory and the lifter of our head; and we thank You. Abba Father You are great and so greatly to be praised.

Great Jehovah, God almighty, we adore You, love, honor and exalt You LORD; be all Blessing and Honor and glory and power unto You Most High God. We esteem You for all the works of Your hands, that reveal to us so much wisdom, goodness and mercy, O Lord. Father-God, Father-Son, Father-Holy Spirit; We thank you, love and worship you. our eyes, enlightened by faith, reach You and our soul recognizes our Creator, and our hearts are completely immersed in prayer of adoration, thanksgiving, love, and gratefulness to you the majestic one, Hallelujah! Our Lord and Creator, Your goodness encourages the believer to talk with You. Your mercy abolishes the gap which separates the Creator from the creature. To pray unto You, O Lord, in Jesus’ Name is the delight of our hearts. In You we find everything that our heart could desire. Here, Your light enlightens our mind, enabling it to know You more and more deeply. Your streams of graces flow down upon our heart with love, praises, and thanksgiving unto you LORD. Here our soul draws eternal life. O our FATHER our LORD, You alone, beyond all these gifts, give Your own self to us and unite Yourself intimately with Your beloved children through Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior. So, we say thank You Father, we thank You Jesus, we thank You Holy Spirit; we bow down and worship You God almighty. We welcome and thank You Holy Spirit for being in the midst of our families, we pray that You have your way in our lives.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for Jesus Christ

Heavenly Father, we will praise You at all times, we will constantly speak Your praises. We will boast only in You. We give thanks to You with our whole hearts; we will sing Your praises forever. We bow before Your holy temple and praise You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness; for Your promises are backed by all the honor of Your Name. As Your children, we pray to You with adoration and thanksgiving in our hearts. Abba Father, we thank You for Jesus and being such a loving God. We thank You Jesus for being our High Priest and making us Your people. Thank You for being mindful of us and becoming our Deliverer and Liberator.

Jesus, thank You for making us right in God’s sight through Your resurrection and ascension. Because of You, we have peace with God. Through our faith in You we have been brought into a plan of undeserved privilege and we can confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. HALLELUJAH! Thank You Father God for showing Your great love for us by sending Your son to die for us while we were still sinners. Since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Jesus, we are saved from God’s condemnation. Because of Your death, our friendship with God was restored. Today, we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because You have made us God’s friends. Thank You for becoming our sacrifice. Thank You for enduring pain, shame, and humiliation for our righteousness. Because of You, we are God’s righteousness. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Holy Spirit, thank You for helping us to always remember that Jesus is our big Brother. Thank You for leading and guiding our daily living so that we present the goodness of Christ to our families, friends, and co-workers. Thank You Holy Spirit, for healing and growing our natural and spiritual self-esteem so that we can be all that You have created us to be.

Holy Spirit, thank You for helping us to stay focused on Kingdom business instead of worldly desires, and selfish cares and concerns. Help us to keep renewing our minds daily until the image
