      Chapter One

      Driven By Money

      Money in the hands of a good person is a blessing. On the other hand, in the hands of an evil person, it is a disaster.

      The book of Ecclesiastes, the seventh chapter and the twelfth verse reads, "Wisdom and money can get you almost anything, but only wisdom can save your life" (Ecclesiastes 7:12 NIV). This verse simply means that without the wisdom of God to manage your wealth or money, you can destroy yourself. This is because money is one of the strongest forces driving the world today, and controls actions and behaviour to the extent of making people sell their souls and even kill to obtain it.

      Therefore, we find people using craftiness to swindle or deceive unsuspecting people for their 13

      money so that they can fulfil their selfish and worldly needs and desires.

      First Timothy chapter six and the tenth verse reads, For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows . (1 Timothy 6:10 KJV) 14
