Introduction
o you know that so many of us have opened gates for the devil to enter, attack and destroy us? Most of
the time, we consciously or unconsciously open gates for the enemy to have access to us and to attack and destroy us. We do this through bad habits, negative alliances, bad motives and also by taking the wrong steps and decisions.
I believe one of the greatest tragedies of this generation is that, we have opened gates for the enemy to come in and operate. Instead of us to close it, we rather blame our woes on the witches and the wizards in our families. We pray all kinds of dangerous prayers to overcome these so called witches and wizards. Beloved, when we do this, we are rather activating and channeling our efforts in the wrong direction. It can be equated to putting a round peg in a square hole. We need to look within us and identify which of the gates we have opened, and deal with by closing it the right way. We mostly fight battles we ourselves have created.
Friend, any time we fail to close the gates we have opened wrongly, we in effect open up ourselves for the enemy to come in, and it becomes difficult for us to deal with him. Don’t forget that the enemy is also called ‘the

Accuser of the brethren’ is always trying to find fault with mankind which will facilitate the legal access route to us. Below are some few questions which you need to ask yourself as your reading progresses. And I believe that by the unction of the Holy Spirit, this book will help answer them accordingly. And thus:
1. Have you allowed the destroyer to enter your life by opening any of the above mentioned gates which I’m will be sharing with you subsequently?
2. Are you battling with a problem which is caused as a result of you wrongly opening any of these gates?
3. Have you been deceived to open a gate you were not supposed to have opened?
Because many are not privy to the knowledge that when God created man, He fixed gates all over the human body, we intentionally or unintentionally; carelessly or mistakenly open these gates. This unfortunately has given the enemy an undeserving access to us. For lack of knowledge my people perish.
A careful observation of 1st Samuel 11:1-5, which is one of the key scriptures for discussion in this book reveals that King David carelessly opened some of these gates and it brought troubles, tragedies and calamities upon himself and his household. Let’s read this scripture prayerfully:
