Dąb
––––––––
Janek wiedział, że dąb zapewni niewiele schronienia przed burzą, więc zabrał pisklęta do środka, trzymając je bezpieczne i ciepłe, aż burza minęła.
The Oak Tree
––––––––
In a small village in Poland, there was a man named Janek. He lived alone in a cozy cottage at the edge of the forest. Janek was a quiet man, spending his days tending to his garden and his animals. But there was one thing that Janek loved more than anything else – an old oak tree that stood tall in the middle of his land.
Every morning, Janek would sit under the oak tree, its branches providing shade from the sun. He would sip his coffee and listen to the birds singing their morning songs. The oak tree was his sanctuary, a place of peace and solitude.
One day, as Janek sat under the oak tree, he noticed something unusual. A small nest had appeared nestled among the branches. Curious, Janek climbed up the tree to get a closer look. Inside the nest were three tiny eggs, speckled with delicate patterns.
Over the following days, Janek watched as the eggs hatched, and three baby birds emerged. They were tiny and fragile, with feathers as soft as down. Janek knew that he had to take care of them, just like he took care of his garden and his animals.
Every day, Janek would climb the oak tree to feed the baby birds. He would gather worms and insects from the garden, carefully placing them in the nest for the hungry chicks. As they grew, the birds became stronger, their chirps filling the air with joy.
But one day, a fierce storm swept through the village. The wind howled and the rain poured down, lashing against the windows of Janek's cottage. Janek knew that the oak tree would provide little shelter from the storm, so he brought
