Prologue

Where do souls reside?

It is strange how bricks and walls make the right home for your body, but does your soul truly reside there?

Or has it fled to another place?

A place that has a heart, a smell, and a voice?

And your body lies there unbudgingly, surviving for the gnawing stomachs, living irrespective of our soul’s ordeal.

Perhaps I am deranged in thinking that we need homes for our souls over our bodies and that is what I presume defines love as well.

That someone who makes your soul feel at home.
