    Translations of the autobiography of a Japanese person who become a priest in his thirties and took up kyudo = Japanese archery late in life. The priest, Suhara Koun, also established a dojo in the Engakuji temple complex in Japan.
    It is not a guide to the technical details of kyudo, but rather a description of many fateful encounters master Suhara had during his life.
    The book offers some unique and enlighening insights pertaining to the nature / purpose of practicing zen and martial arts, as well as to the meaning of life.
    If fact, meeting with this priest 45 years ago change MY (translator of the book) life in such a way, that I decided to stay in Japan.
