About this ebook

The Glorious Arrest of a Family

The presence of God appeared before them in their home and lasted for three days. By the third day God had changed the lives of all in the family, including that of a visitor! He showed them great mysteries and events that would soon take place in the world; He then asked them to "go and tell everybody" what they had seen. Before this event Mr. & Mrs. Okafor had little or no time for things of God. Today, the story is different. "The end of all things is here and we must help warn the people" the author says.
"...This message is appealing, loving, down to earth and URGENT... I recommend this book to you for reading and...for taking appropriate action."

The Glorious Arrest of a Family - NEW ENGLISH EDITION - Lambert Okafor

THE GLORIOUS ARREST OF A FAMILY

    By

    LAMBERT EZE OKAFOR

    Dedication

Dedicated to you: That you may also be ready when the Lord Jesus Christ comes back for His people.

    Foreword

Dear Friends, Paul, writing to the Galatians in order to defend the genuineness of his message and spare them from false teaching told them the story of his conscription into Christianity by God Himself so that he might preach the Good News to the Gentiles (Galatians 1). Also telling King Agrippa about his conversion and how God commanded him to ‘tell others what you have seen of me today, and what I will show you in the future,’ (Acts 26:16) Paul added, And so, King Agrippa, I did not disobey the vision I had from Heaven. (Acts 26:19)

Likewise, in this book Lambert Okafor is passionately telling you the story of his conscription on May 28th 1989 (and later his family) into the army of the living God to be an Evangelist, a Preacher, a Prophet, so that he can go everywhere and tell every person what he has seen, for it is true.

The Bible teaches us about those who have been called or appointed to proclaim the message of God. They are divinely chosen spokesmen who received and related God’s message, whether in oral, visual, or written form.

The message can come to them through dreams, visions, angels, nature, miracles, and an audible voice. They are variously called Prophets, Seers, Watchmen, men of God, Messengers and Servants of the Lord. They were called from different vocations. For example, Jeremiah and Ezekiel were priests; Isaiah and Daniel were of Royal blood while Amos was a shepherd. This means that God does not discriminate persons in His choice of messengers. Professionals, Scholars, Farmers, Traders, Labourers, Young and Old, Males and Females are all within the ambit of His choice. When He calls He equips in order to counteract any excuses. Moses, Jeremiah and even Jonah had their ‘genuine’ excuses to give and yet God used them successfully for His purpose. God continues to call and send His messengers today to proclaim the Good News of Salvation. I am impressed that Lambert did not hesitate for long before he took up the challenge of proclaiming what he saw and experienced.

You will notice that this message is not aggressive or arrogant, he did not display that air of holier-than- thou attitude often displayed by some preachers. Rather it is persuasive, appealing, loving, down to earth and urgent. The interpretation of the SEVEN MYSTERIES which he attributed to the work of the Holy Spirit is interesting. Please read that you may understand. Lambert Okafor and his family have found a new joy and a fresh hope in the Lord which instead of hoarding, Lambert has decided to share with you. Why not give it a trial and may the Spirit of Truth lead you into all truth for His glory and for your salvation. I agree with this writer when he said, Like He did with the people of old, so He is doing with us today until into the Kingdom of His dear Son we find ourselves. I recommend this book to you for reading and understanding and for taking appropriate action. And may God bless you.

    Preface

And it will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind. And your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, your youngmen will see visions, and even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth... Before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. (Joel 2:28-31).

The Glorious Arrest of A Family is one of the great books of our time, for any Heaven-seeking Christian will agree with me that indeed, Joel 2:28-31 has become an accomplished text today. It is another confirmation that the great and awesome day of the Lord is at the corner. It is almost 12 o’clock. From this book, we certainly begin to realise that the end time events, nay the end itself as prophesied, are much more valid than the laws of thermodynamics. That the Bible is afterall, not an impracticable book of theology but rather a practical book of life containing words of knowledge for the wise.

Why would God go out of His way to arrest a man un-concerned with the things of God? My answer is because He is God. He has proved that if He wishes He can bend us to submission. Again that what God did in the time past He can do today. He arrested Jonah and made him willing to go. So Brother Lambert was arrested, to know that the Bible he threw away did not destroy God’s authority over him. That nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, not even our rejection of Him or neglect of the love.

Finally, it confirms as our brother wrote that His political time-table is rapidly unfolding... and His ministers, the Angels, have gone out on mission possible, to usher in His Kingdom.

Today many Christians are distracted. They have forgotten the admonition, watch ye therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matt. 24:42. Conditions in our world indicate that the time is short and a lot remains to be done. The Glorious Arrest of a Family is a good reminder.

Brother Lambert never suspected that God would catch up with him. What of you? You need to read this book to know how near we are to the edge of eternity. Perhaps you do not believe in God, what more in the second coming of Christ. Lambert also had no time for Him. Find out how he changed his mind and what God is doing with him!
