Amélie Dubois, une femme d'une grâce douce et d'une détermination silencieuse, avait passé son enfance dans les murs de ce café, se délectant de la chaleur de l'amour de ses parents et des rires des fidèles clients. Mais quand la tragédie frappa et que ses parents décédèrent subitement, le poids de l'héritage du café reposa sur ses épaules.
Alors qu'Amélie se tenait derrière le comptoir, examinant les alentours familiers avec un mélange de nostalgie et d'appréhension, elle ne put s'empêcher de se sentir intimidée par la tâche qui l'attendait.
