About this ebook
Do you ever feel like you're not being appreciated enough? That compared to others, you haven't accomplished much? Lived enough?
Join me in celebrating you — yes, YOU —, and let us rediscover feeling appreciated for all that you've already done.
In this fast spinning world it's too rare we pause to really see the endless ways we touch each other's lives and make our small corners of the universe brighter.
So, how about we make a deal? Lend me a bit of your precious time, and let's embark on a journey of gratitude—for all you've achieved, for the challenges you've overcome, and for the sheer, remarkable fact of being you. As you turn these pages, remember: this book is a mirror reflecting your own brilliance back at you. Allow yourself the time to sit down with me and focus on you.
At its core, 'Thank You' is a transformative experience that celebrates the reader for their path of self-discovery.
Koch invites the reader to take a look at the choices that have defined them, their moments of reflection, and the strength that lies within their spirit. 'Thank You' is about recognizing the beauty in the individual story and the impact made, often without even realizing it.

Thank You - A Celebration of YOU - J. Koch
Thank you
Thank you for choosing to spend your time with this book, and more importantly, thank you for being the person you are, for all that you have accomplished, and for the countless acts of kindness, both big and small, that define you. It's a profound truth of our existence that sometimes our actions resonate loudly, while at other times, they seem to dissolve into thin air, unnoticed and unacknowledged. But here, right now, I want to pause and offer you a heartfelt thank you for everything you have done, said, left unsaid, thought, expressed and felt.
In our society that often races by without a moment's pause, the power of praise and the simple act of saying thank you
are undervalued treasures. These words are not just polite manners but a form of recognition and empowerment. They have the unique ability to uplift spirits in times of need and amplify joy of happiness. And yet, it's perplexing, isn't it? Why is it that expressions of gratitude and appreciation seem so scarce? Why do we, along with our bosses, families, and loved ones, find it challenging to acknowledge the value and impact of each other's contributions more frequently?
With this in mind, I extend my gratitude to you, personally, and inviting you to pass it forward to someone in your life—be it at home, school, or work. It's quite possible that they experience acknowledgment and appreciation, the same way that you do. After all, the longing for recognition and a kind word is a universal desire, one that transcends boundaries and connects us all.
But let's set aside the wider world for a moment and focus on you. I want to say thank you for being so uniquely you. For the laughter you've shared, the tears you've shed, the dreams you've chased, and the fears you've faced. Thank you for the times you've stood up for what's right, even when it wasn't easy. Thank you for the silent struggles you've endured, the personal victories you've celebrated in quiet, and the love you've given without expecting it in return.
This book is more than just letters on a page, it's an acknowledgment of you and an expression of gratitude for everything you bring into this world. So as we continue, let's embark on a journey together of recognition, reflection and gratitude.
Thank you for being you and thank you for reading.
Growing up
Childhood—the golden age of questionable fashion choices (courtesy of parental styling), relentless curiosity, and a time when naps were public enemy number one. A tip of the hat to those roller coaster years from when you were born to when you grew up, where every day brought a new adventure.
Firstly, a round of applause for surviving the politics of the playground and mastering the art of base tag, the floor is lava and all the fun games we’d play as our
