n April 13, 2021, my mate died in an accident. I had much grief. This is our love story. We managed to keep our love strong despite the fact that my mate was an alcoholic. I had only two years with my mate. Gone were my thoughts of marrying him since he died before we could get married.

My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, helped me get through this hardship, as well as the other hardships that occurred in 2021. The Lord gave me the strength to go on. There were a few steps that I took to cope with the grief that I will later talk about.

There were many more sad events that happened in my life in 2021 that only added to the grief I was already going through. I was not ready to let my mate go, but the Lord saw fit to take him home. Yes, 2021 was a year of much more sorrow. The Lord, however, did give me more blessings to help me along. The blessings didn't bring my mate back from the dead, but the blessings did bring me much closer to the Lord. Being much closer to the Lord is the biggest blessing I received in 2021. I knew that
