The Choice Is Hope or Hopelessness - Merlin Avalondon
Worldwide Tea of Love Blessings
Leith stood in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, a place where countless people pass daily foremost for sightseeing reasons. His dream was coming to life, a dream of unity and love that transcended boundaries of religion, age, gender, and origin. Leith, a founder of a new religious movement of Zen Buddhism, was about to embark on a weeklong journey to bless 5,000 couples, at least, with a rededication of their marriage.
The sun hung low in the Parisian sky, casting long shadows across the cobblestone square. Leith, dressed in simple robes, held a teacup in his hands. The cup was not ornate or extravagant, but it held a significance that surpassed any material value. It was a vessel of connection, a symbol of the unity he hoped to foster among the couples who would pass by.
Leith’s team of 12 followers, equally clad in modest attire, stood in formation behind him. They were a diverse group, drawn from all walks of life, and all corners of the world. But they shared a common purpose — to support their leader in this unique and unprecedented endeavor.
As the first couple approached, Leith’s heart swelled with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. The man and woman, both in their golden years, held hands and approached the makeshift altar with smiles that spoke of a lifetime of shared experiences. They were the perfect start to Leith’s mission.
With grace and serenity, Leith poured a fragrant green tea into the cup. The tea’s aroma wafted gently on the breeze, and he offered it to the couple. They took a sip simultaneously, their eyes locked on each other. It was a moment of connection, of shared intimacy.
Then, Leith began his proclamation.
In the presence of this sacred cathedral, I, Master Leith, invite you to renew your vows. Let this tea symbolize the unity of your spirits, the sharing of your journey. May it remind you that love, like the fragrant tea, grows stronger with time and shared experiences.
The couple nodded in solemn agreement. They exchanged heartfelt words, reaffirming their love and commitment. Leith’s followers stood by, each one radiating a sense of calm and support.
The days passed in a blur of ceremonies. Leith and his team blessed couples of all ages, from young lovers in the bloom of their passion to those who had weathered the storms of life together for decades. The square in front of Notre Dame became a place of unity, of shared love and devotion.
Each ceremony was a unique blend of Zen Buddhism and the Shaolin Tea Ceremony. Leith’s words were like poetry, and the tea was the bridge that connected the couples and to the cathedral that stood as a symbol of enduring love.
There were moments of tears, laughter, and profound connection. Leith and his followers witnessed the beauty of human relationships in all their forms. They saw love that transcended language, age, and culture. It was a powerful testament to the universality of the human experience.
As the sun set over Notre Dame on the final day of the weeklong event, Leith felt a profound sense of accomplishment. He had blessed 5,000 couples, and in doing so, he had left an indelible mark on their lives. The square had become a place of
