A Draoithe Saga Tale
Eternal Service or Prophetic Destiny
Nine hundred twenty-nine years ago, seven men were resurrected as dragon knights and brothers in arms by an ancient shaman. Collared to serve the High King of Leinster, nearly three hundred years passed before they won their freedom, but their ensuing directionless lives palled on the undying immortals they had become.
The shaman who created them foretold an eerie prophecy at their making. Pursuing that fated future meant giving up their hard won freedom, but refusing their destiny resulted in a perpetual aimless existence.
The dragons hatched a plan, but it all depended on finding the man known as the Dire Wolf King, choosing to serve once again, and proving the worth of dragon knights to a fledgling immortal kingdom.Luke Mendez challenged the dragons to a rescue mission.
If you love a good beginning of the quest tale, Quest of the Valkyries by Ophelia Kee brings the dark prophecy and dangerous magic of dragons on a quest to the fledgling immortal kingdom of Draoithe. Failure dooms them to an eternity of uselessness. If they succeed, their futures in the dream would be secured with purpose. Everything rests on finding their lost Valkyries.
It's more than a story; it's an experience. Welcome to the dream…

Not who everyone thinks she is. The product of someone’s imagination. The end result of a lifetime wishing to get out. Do not buy the lie. If you live in fear, you give up freedom. Taking the risk and making the leap. Too much of anything is a bad thing. Innuendo floating on the mist that rises above the water. Walk away and leave it all behind. Telling the story that haunts a fantasy. Catching a dream. She does not exist. -Ophelia Kee

A Note from Ophelia KeeA Note from Ophelia Kee
Note to the Reader:
A saga is defined as a long story of heroic achievement, especially a medieval prose narrative often found in Old Norse or Old Icelandic. It’s a form of the novel in which the members of a social group chronicle a long story detailing a dramatic history.
Compartmentalized in several miniseries for easier reading, the Draoithe Saga tells the story of the founding of an immortal kingdom in the Leaindeail to combat those responsible for unbalancing the magic of the dream. It’s told through the eyes of those connected with its creation and the readers see the story through tales of couples who find hope through their connection to Draoithe.
The central time frame is the year 2016, although pertinent information from the past reveals itself as the characters understand it. The central place is an eerily familiar yet magical realist, Tyler, Texas. As the tale draws out, other kingdoms set in other locations interact with the Druid pack to bring about the end of Peter Elliot and restore the balance of magic, so those tales, too, became a part of the Draoithe Saga as well. Cameo appearances of characters from other tales are common. Overlapping scenes from the events often relates alternate perspectives as the story unfolds.

Character Introduction
Grey DragonGrey Dragon
Long ago, dragons, resurrected by necromancers, served the druid kings in defense of the kingdom. While Fox once had a war counselor in a dragon known as Smoke, he never made the connection that the magic had built the entire feudal hierarchy. Dragons were an integral part of that ancient magic.
When Fox and Javier swore fealty and raised Luke to the position of an overlord, Druid magic coalesced around them and built the over kingdom just as it had once done in ancient Gaelic Ireland. The magic called existing dragons to serve the kings who swore fealty to the High King of the Druids.
The chart resulted from the grey dragons’ arrival at Draoithe to fulfill an ancient prophecy penned by a grief maddened devil. Part of that prophecy involved dragons claiming their life mates.
When the dragons arrived requesting to join the pack, Luke unwittingly barred them from entry unless they bonded with their Valkyries to control the dragons’ dangerous magic. His decision played a pivotal role in how the Unlikely Kings prophecy played out at Draoithe and the roles the dragons took on because of their need for home and hearth.
