A world of truth-seeking and spiritual exploration. As an author, I am deeply committed to the pursuit of knowledge and understanding. My goal is to share the transformative power of truth with others. This book is a result of my lifelong quest for understanding and my desire to make it accessible to everyone. At the age of 18, I made a crucial decision. I resolved to read the Bible cover to cover, allowing myself to grasp its overarching message and gain a comprehensive perspective. Until then, my encounters with the Bible had been limited to selectively chosen passages, mostly determined by others. I knew it was time to go directly to the source and ask for divine guidance in comprehending the words before me. And so, my journey began. I quickly discovered that this exercise would be the most vital step I would ever take in my spiritual quest. It has had a profound and lasting impact on every aspect of my life. Encouraged by the transformation I experienced, I have since encouraged others to embark on a similar path. Yet, I realized that the task of reading the Bible in its entirety can be challenging and daunting for many. Motivated by the desire to make the Scriptures more accessible,,I reframed its teachings as poetry, a medium I believe to be more easily digested and understood. This book presents the Bible in poetic verses, offering a companion to your personal study. You can read these poems alongside your Bible, keeping notes of areas that resonate with you, prompting further exploration or prayerful reflection. My intention is to provide you with a practical approach to engaging with the Scriptures. Set yourself a daily goal, embark on this poetic voyage, and persevere until you reach the final pages. Thank you for joining me on this path of discovery. May your journey be filled with enlightenment, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of truth.

    TAPESTRY OF TIME

    In Shiloh’s sacred, solemn space,

    Elkanah made his yearly grace.

    Hannah prayed, her fervent plea,

A child to bless their family tree.

    ––––––––

    Eli’s blessing, a sacred vow,

    Samuel born, a prophet now.

    Hannah’s song in gratitude swells,

In Eli’s house, dark mischief dwells.

    ––––––––

Yet shadows fall on Eli’s kin,

    Misconduct stains their hearts within.

Hophni and Phinehas, lost to shame,

For wicked deeds, their end, the same.

    ––––––––

In the night, young Samuel heard,

    Prophet’s call, his purpose stirred.

A prophet’s path, now set in stone,

In ancient Israel, he’d be known.

    ––––––––

The Ark, once bright, by Philistines seized,

Eli’s sons, in battle, gone, deceased,.

Their fate entwined with Israel’s fall,

As echoes of a nation’s call

    ––––––––

    Plagues descend on Philistine land,

    A punishment, at God’s hand.

In battle's grip, Eli's sons deceased,

With Israel's fall, their fate released.

    ––––––––

Plagued, the Philistines bowed in fear,

By Ark’s presence, their hearts drew near.

Its weight too heavy, they returned the prize,

To Israel’s land, beneath the skies.

    ––––––––

In whispers soft, on Israel’s ground,

David’s fate in oil is found.

    Anointed king, a sacred choice,

    By Samuel’s wise, prophetic voice.

    ––––––––

    Goliath, giant, fierce and tall,

David’s sling, the giant would fall.

Stone in sling  a giant’s bane,

Among his people he gained fame.

    ––––––––

    Jonathan and David, hearts entwined,

A friendship deep, by fate designed.

Yet Saul’s envy, a poison sown,

In David’s path, a shadow thrown.

    ––––––––

Saul’s wrath, a tempest in his soul,

To kill young David was his goal.

In cave’s embrace,, where hate is known,

David spares a life, not his own.

    ––––––––

But in battle’s fray, a tragic date,

Saul and Jonathan met their fate

    Judah’s crown upon his brow,

    David led with solemn vow.

    ––––––––

Yet in desire’s flame, he’s caught,

With Bathsheba, a web he wrought.

    Uriah falls in battle’s cry,

A tragic end beneath the sky.

    ––––––––

    Nathan’s voice, like thunder, clear,

Rebukes the king, his sins severe.

Within his house, a tempest raged,

    Rebellion’s fire, Absalom engaged.

    ––––––––

    But,death was upon him cast,

In battle’s roar, he breathed his last..

David weeps, his heart in pain,

For Absalom, his grief, a chain.

    ––––––––

In years that follow, shadows blend,

    David’s rule begins to mend.

    With Solomon, his line extends,

In Israel’s tale, the saga bends.

    WOVEN IN TEARS

    In Ramathaim, on Ephraim’s hill,

Lived Elkanah, a man of will.

    Son of Jeroham, Elihu’s kin,

Hannah and Peninnah, his wives within.

    ––––––––

    Peninnah blessed with children’s glee,

    While Hannah knew no progeny.

To Shiloh’s shrine, a yearly way,

To worship the Lord, come what may.

    ––––––––

Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, there,

In service of God, they took their care.

When offerings made, to Peninnah’s share,

    Elkanah gave, a portion fair.

    ––––––––

But Hannah’s portion, filled with love,

For in his heart, she soared above.

Yet, barren she, her rival’s jest,

Ached in her soul, a deep unrest.

    ––––––––

Each year, the pain, a cruel art,

Her womb locked tight, it tore her heart.

Why weep, dear Hannah? Elkanah said,

Am I not more than sons, he pled.

    ––––––––

In Shiloh’s hall, her sorrow wept,

Before the Lord, her anguish crept.

A vow she made, in desperate plea,

To grant her child, her soul set free.

    ––––––––

Eli watched, her lips did move,

No sound emerged, her heart did prove.

Put away your wine, Eli cried,

But Hannah’s truth she couldn’t hide.

    ––––––––

"No drink I’ve touched, no sin I’ve sown,

In sorrow’s depths, I stand alone.

Grant me this wish, O Lord so kind,

And I’ll devote him, heart and mind."

    ––––––––

Eli blessed her, "Go in peace,

    May God’s favor never cease."

    Hannah’s face, no longer sad,

Her prayer, it seemed, was finally had.

    ––––––––

Morning light, a new day’s birth,

In worship, they embraced their mirth.

To Ramah’s home, they made their way,

Where Hannah’s joy would hold its sway.

    ––––––––

Time passed by, as years oft do,

Hannah held a child, so true.

Samuel, a name, in God’s own grace,

A symbol of her fervent chase.

    ––––––––

To Shiloh’s temple, they would tread,

To offer thanks, where prayers were spread.

Yet Hannah vowed, her son she’d keep,

Until he weaned, her watch she’d steep.

    ––––––––

With three bullocks and flour in hand,

They reached God’s house, in that
