Chapter One

Trapped in Bed

Her hands rode up the sides of my hips while we kissed in bed.  Dirty sheets tangled around our legs, trapping us together like two caterpillars in the same cocoon. 

It should have been an image I cherished, but as soon as this idea hit me—that we would be locked together for who knows how long—I started to panic.  At first, I just kicked at the sheets.  That should have done the trick.  But even when I got my feet untangled, I still felt trapped. 

Vonda obviously took the kicking as a silent plea, because she moved down my body like a serpent.  She spread my legs and I couldn’t say no.  She’d been down there only moments ago.  It should have been my turn.  But she went at me again, attacking my naked flesh with an unforgiving tongue.
