"Captured In Time" Is about Mark on a tour, traveling through time. Curiosity takes over, and Mark goes too far into the disastrous future.

 

"Joe's Halloween Parking Lot Mishap" is a story of Joe, who locks his belongings in his car and gets accused of trying to steal his car.

 

"John's Telescope" is about a poor single mother who wishes to make her son's dreams come true no matter the cost.

WILLIAM’S BEST FRIEND

My alarm clock rang with a growing crescendo as it reached seven o'clock. I reached out to the alarm clock with my eyes closed and repeatedly swung my hand toward the noise. I eventually opened my eyes just enough to see the off button and made the last motion to end the noise. I sighed and rolled over to my left noticing my calendar hung from the wall. A lowly grumble from the sky roared from outside. The calendar read December 1st, marked under it was Urban Legend Day. It’s Urban Legend Day! I jolted up and threw on the first clean clothes I could find. I exited my room and looked down the hall. There he was, my small chihuahua wagging his tail. I said, Brady! I took my hands and smacked my legs twice. Brady ran towards me with high-pitched barks and jumped onto me. With his front two paws, he stood up against my legs. I picked him up petting his head gently. I love you Brady but I have to go to Urban Legend Day. I’m going to find that elusive Wolpertinger.

My mother from the kitchen said, William, come get breakfast!
