    Introduction

Zeal Without Knowledge is full of the keys of wisdom, understanding, and instruction. It is a book that will outline to the readers keys to help in their walk with Christ.

One of the pros of becoming a Believer and being a member of the body of Christ, is the sacrifice you must make by taking up your cross and denying yourself just like Jesus did. The Bible says in Matthew 16:24 NLT, Then Jesus said to his disciples, If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. In this walk, as you follow Jesus Christ, you will experience opposition and many other things that you are told about in the Word of God (the Bible).

There are issues that can cause a stumbling block or hinderance to your spiritual growth and development in your new walk with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The reason I consider following Jesus Christ by taking up your cross, and denying yourself daily a pro and not a con, is because it produces good fruit in your life spiritually.

Your flesh will not like the change that the Lord is making in your life, but that’s okay. You will become stronger spiritually as you grow and develop in Christ! Have you ever met someone who was excited and eager to take on a project or a task? As they began, they were positive, full of energy, raised their sleeves, and ready to get their hands dirty. When they started to do the project, they saw barriers that would hinder them from completing the project or assignment.

Barriers like not knowing what to expect after completing the initial step in the assignment would catch them off guard. When this happens, the person will immediately need to stop and regroup to find out how to get to the next phase of the project, focusing on the completion. So, they do some research in the manual for the project and read it thoroughly, but when they try to perform the next step, they must do it repeatedly until it is perfect.

No one wants to turn in a project that is mediocre or incomplete. Everyone always has a mission to complete the assignment. This is a blueprint of what it is like to become a believer and how to overcome barriers, temptations, weaknesses, and failures after you receive salvation.

Wisdom and understanding are necessary to achieve the goal and complete the race of salvation! That is eternal life with God, the Father, and Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, and being a joint heir and heir in the kingdom of heaven.

This book will help you to recognize the booby traps and snares set by the enemy to hinder your God-given purpose and your right in the kingdom of heaven.

    Chapter 1

    Confidence and Self-esteem

You must know who you are, what you were created for, and the area that God created and gifted you for. This is imperative because if you don’t know who you are and your purpose here in the earth, anyone will be able to tell you what or who you are, and it may be contrary to the will of God, and we know that only he that does the will of the Father is he that will enter heaven (Matthew 7:21).

Do not condemn yourself for the bad decisions you have made in your past and for the things that have happened to you because you weren’t alert and being simple. Proverbs is a great place to start if you lack wisdom in anything. If any man lacks wisdom, ask and God will give it to you (James 1:5).

Ask the Lord to show you who you are. Ask Him to reveal your identity and who He created you to be. Ask and it shall be given to you, knock and the door shall be open, seek and ye shall find (Matthew 7:7).

Every person’s life has value. God didn’t allow one person to be born into the world without His purpose and destiny placed on the inside of them (Genesis 1:26).

God is also a God of free will. He will give you a choice to choose Him or the life you want to live. This is where you choose between life and death (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Don’t allow your focus to rest on what other people are doing or how they prosper. The Bible says the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delights in his way (Psalms 37:23). The Lord has already ordered your steps. He foreknew and predestined you to be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. He called, justified, and glorified you (Romans 8:29-31).

    Wisdom Keys:

Don’t allow people to speak to you disrespectfully. We train people on how to treat us by what we accept. If they don’t treat you with respect and dignity, you need to move on, whether in a friendship or a heterosexual relationship.

Be capable of making decisions on your own, without another person’s input and be content with your decisions. The Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8).

Always put your listening ears on when you are interacting with people. I am not speaking about paranoia, but being sober and vigilant. Even the most eloquent speakers will give their motives and intentions concerning you through their speech. The difference between discernment is
