    Introduction

I will never forget that moment. I was invited to give a lecture on the subject of happiness. There were approximately three hundred young participants. At the end of the lecture, a very beautiful young woman came up to me and said: Mr. François, I thank you immensely, because you have saved my life from death. I was astonished. I asked her, In what way have I saved your life from death? She replied: Six months ago I had no meaning in my life. I was living a bitter life. Everything I did was going wrong. Life was beating me and I couldn’t find what to do. This very morning, I had decided to take my own life. But a friend invited me to this lecture of yours. Everything you said was just for me; and one word that touched me the most was when you said: Take care of yourself and get on board the train of happiness at every mille. I admit that I was wrong and that my behavior toward life was not appropriate. I no longer want to die. Because I have found meaning in my life. I am a happy woman and I didn’t realize that. During your conference, I decided to forgive myself and from now on I will let happiness take over my life.

Like that young woman, every day we meet people with no will to live. They wander aimlessly and without direction as if they were tired of life. They fight against themselves, living in an emotional void; because they have lost the true meaning of their existence. Despite a long trajectory and tireless struggle, they sadly come to the wrong conclusion that there is no way out. They have given up. They live under the yoke of sadness, stress, anxiety, anguish, depression, and scarcity. When they look at their past, they only see failure. They look at their present and hear the roar of failure. They look to the future but still see failure lurking in the background. That way, many of them come to believe that the best solution is to disappear completely.

The testimony of that young woman touched my life. That is why I now dedicate more time to giving lectures to students in high schools, universities, churches, and private and public institutions. Anywhere in the world, if necessary, in order to continue rescuing the lives of billions of people around the world.

The second testimony that touched me on the day of the conference was that of
