Preston

Preston remembered dropping his bags and climbing the stairs to his bedroom, figuring he would find Jodie, his girlfriend taking a nap or shower. Taking the stairs two at a time Preston approached the landing, noticing the trail of clothing that led to his bedroom. In a confused daze, Preston made his way through the open door where he could hear the muffled sounds of a couple talking. His heart sank finding Jodie with her yoga instructor redefining the pose downward facing dog.

That had been almost 6 months ago he thought as he sat his 6-foot frame dwarfing a rather spacious seat on the plane, trying to figure out why that memory had popped into his head. Maybe it was that he was heading home after months away working on The Opulent Orchid, a luxurious hotel his company had completed for an oil tycoon. He could use the vacation time that’s for sure... His train of thought trailed as a sweet-smelling perfume wafted past him. Watching her hips and bottom swing almost grazing the lucky edges of the seats, she made her way up the aisle. Preston felt the hair on the back of his neck stand, there was something
