    ### PART 1 WHY NOT ATHEISM??? ###

    1. Creator approach

The First Piece of Evidence for a Creator is the ‘Law of Cause and Effect’ or Causality

    # Cosmological Argument #

Everything that begins to exist, or change has to have a cause.

The universe has a beginning, so it has cause. Someone Caused it to exist.

God unlike universe, doesn't have a beginning, so no cause, led to its existence. He is eternal.

    Name of Allah, The Creator":

He creates from nothing. Complete Nothingness

    1. Can we agree, everything that Exists has only 2 possibilities Quick approach):

    A) It Always Existed.

    B) It Had a Beginning.

    Now if it....

    A. Always Existed: It would mean it goes back infinitely [forever] and that’s just not possible (infinite regress & dependency rules, see later)

And We Even know now that Universe had a Beginning, the bigbang and universe expansion.

    The other possibility...

    B. It Had a Beginning. And If it had a Beginning it must have either:

    a) Created Itself.

    b) Something caused it to come into being, this is Causality.

    Now if it....

    a) ‘Created itself’ would mean it would have to exist and not exist at the same time which is impossible.

    The other possibility...

    b) ‘Something caused it’. This means that there must be a cause for anything to come into being.

The ultimate cause for everything is, we believe The Creator. You are probably wondering who made this Creator.

    2. Room Example (Detailed approach):

    Isolated Room:

Imagine you find yourself sitting in the corner of a room. The door that you entered through is now completely sealed. There is no way of entering or exiting. The walls, ceiling and floor are made up of stone. All you can do is stare into open, empty space, surrounded by cold, dark, and stony walls. Due to immense boredom, you fall asleep.

A few hours pass by; you wake up.

As you open your eyes, you are shocked to see that in the middle of the room is a desk with a computer on top of it. You approach the desk and notice some words on the computer screen: This desk and computer came from nothing.

Do you believe what you have read on the screen?

    Of course, you do not.

At first glance you rely on your intuition that it is impossible for the computer and desk to have appeared from no prior activity or cause. Then you start to think about what could possibly have happened.

    The possibilities:

After some thought you realize a limited number of reasonable explanations.

The first is that they could have come from no causal conditions or prior activity—in other words, nothing.

The second is that they could have caused or created themselves.

The third is that they could have been created or placed there by a cause.

Since your cognitive faculties are normal and in working order, you conclude that the third explanation is the most rational.

    The Qur’anic argument:

Although this form of reasoning is universal, a more robust variation of the argument can be found eloquently summarized in the Qur’an.

The argument states that the possible explanations for a finite entity coming into being, whether it is human beings or Universe could be that:

    A) It came from nothing.

    B) It created itself (Self-Created).

    C) It could have been created by something else created.

D)It was created by something uncreated.

The Qur’an provides a powerful argument for God’s existence:

Surah At-Tūr, Chapter 52, Verses 35 and 36. Or were they created by nothing? Or were they the creators [of themselves]? Or did they create the heavens and Earth? Rather, they are not certain.

NB. Rather, they are not certain, implying that the denial of God is baseless, & therefore implies that there is an uncreated creator.

    Quran makes a universal formula:

This argument can also be turned into a universal formula that does not require reference to scripture:

    The universe is finite.

Finite things could have come from nothing, created themselves, been created by something created or been created by something uncreated.

They could not have come from nothing, created themselves, or have been ultimately created by something created. Therefore, they were created by something uncreated.

    Let’s analysis each possibility.

    1. The universe is finite:

    Causality Argument:

Everything that begins to exist, or change has to have a cause. The universe has a beginning, so it has cause. Someone Caused it to exist God unlike universe, doesn't have a beginning, so no cause, led to its existence. He is eternal.

    Finite argument:

There is impossibility of an actual infinite, to exist in the real world. Infinite in the real world is an idea, it cannot exist.

The type of actual infinite that I am addressing here is a differentiated type of infinite, which is an infinite made up of discrete parts, like physical things or objects. These physical things can include atoms, quarks, buses, giraffes, and quantum fields.

The undifferentiated type of infinite, however, is an infinite that is not made of discrete parts. This infinite is coherent and can exist. For instance, the infinity of God is an undifferentiated infinite, as He is not made up of discrete physical parts. In Islamic theology, He is uniquely one and transcendent.

    Bag of balls example:

Imagine you had an infinite number of balls in a bag. If you take two balls away, how many balls do you have left? Well, mathematically you still have an infinite number. However, practically, you should have two less than what is in the bag.

What if you added another two balls instead? How many balls are there now? There should be two more than what was in the bag.

You should be able to count how many balls are in the bag, but you cannot...

Because the infinite is just an idea and does not exist in the real world.

    Infinite impossibility

And because the infinite is just an idea and does not exist in the real world. This clearly shows you cannot have an actualized infinite creation made up of discrete physical parts or things.

Considering this fact, the famous German mathematician David Hilbert said, The infinite is nowhere to be found in reality. It neither exists in nature nor provides a legitimate basis for rational thought. the role that remains for the infinite to play is solely that of an idea.

Stack of cubes with different sizes example:

Imagine you had a stack of cubes. Each cube is numbered. The first cube has a volume of 10cm3.

The next cube on top of that has a volume of 5cm3 and the next cube is half of the previous cube. This goes on ad infinitum.

Now go to the top of the stack and remove the cube at the top.

You cannot. There is no cube to be found. Why?

Because if there was a cube to be found at the top it would mean that the cubes did not reach infinity. However, as no cube at the top, it also shows—though mathematical infinite exists—that you can’t have an actualized infinite in the real world. Since there is no end to the stack, it shows the infinite—that is made up of discrete physical things (cubes)—cannot be physically realized.

    Universe example

Conceptually, the universe is no different to the bag of balls or the stack of cubes I have explained above.

The universe is real. It is made up of discrete physical things.

Since the differentiated infinite cannot exist in the real world, it follows that the universe cannot be infinite. This implies that the universe is finite, and since it is finite it must have had a beginning.

    *Already proven by Science*

Did the universe begin, or has it always existed?

Atheists, in the past, before discovery of big-bang have typically said that the universe has been here forever. It is just there, and that's all.

    Energy:

First, let's consider the second law of thermodynamics. It tells us the universe is slowly running out of usable energy, and that's the point. If the universe had been here forever it would have run out of usable energy by now.

    Matter:

According to the second law of thermodynamics, materials are subject to this law as well and undergo deterioration. Matter is not infinite This can manifest as wear, corrosion, and fatigue.

Matter is subject to Decay and change. We can conclude matter cannot be Eternal because anything that changes cannot be Eternal.

    Disorder

According to the second law of thermodynamics, systems tend to evolve to state of disorder over time, not order. Due to energy dispersion and matter deterioration

    Energy, Matter, disorder Conclusion

According to the second law of thermodynamics, whether it is energy loss and material deterioration, or disorder, we know universe is not finite.

Stars are not infinite, they die. Average age of star is few millions to around 10 billion years. Smaller stars after losing their fuels can be dwarf cold stars. Big stars can end in supernovas and black holes. All stars die. Planets die or get destroyed, when their sun die by black hole or supernova, or get destroyed by asteroids, impact events, collisions.

Comets and asteroids also has life span from hundreds of years to thousands of years.

    Big Bang:

The second law points us to a universe that has a definite beginning.

This is further confirmed by a series of remarkable scientific discoveries.

-In 1915 Albert Einstein presented his general theory of relativity which allowed us to talk meaningfully about the past history of the universe.

-Next Alexander Friedmann & Georges Lemaitre, each working with Einstein's equations, predicted that the universe is expanding.

-Then in 1929, Edwin Hubble measured the red shift & light from distant galaxies which confirmed not only that the universe is expanding, But that it sprang into being from a single point in the finite past. It was a monumental discovery almost beyond comprehension.

-More recently three leading cosmologists, Arvind Borde, Alan Guth, and Alexander Vilenkin, proved that any universe which has on average been expanding throughout its history cannot be eternal in the past, but must have an absolute beginning.

This even applies to the multiverse, if there is such a thing. This means that, as Alexander Vilenkin said: Scientists can no longer hide behind a past eternal universe. There is no escape. They have to face the problem of a cosmic beginning.

    Conclusion:

The conclusion indicates universe had a beginning.

Since everything that has a begins to exist has a cause. Then universe has a cause.

And since the universe can't cause itself, its cause must be beyond the space-time universe. It must be spaceless, timeless, immaterial, uncaused, and unimaginably powerful, much like... God.

The cosmological argument shows that in fact it is quite reasonable to believe that God does exist.

    2. Created from nothing?

Whatever begins to exist has a cause.

    The universe began to exist.

Therefore, the universe has a cause.

    Coming out of nothing:

Let's consider. Believing that something can pop into existence without a cause is more of a stretch than believing in magic.

At least with magic you've got a hat and a magician and then a rabbit appears as if from nothing.

Imagine one day you wake up, open your garage, and find a Ferrari. We would say somebody must have put this car here, right? Why? Because we know that a Ferrari doesn't just come out of nowhere. One can understand this perfectly easily.

Then how can entire universe come out of nothingness!

Someone who is not time-bound, or matter bound, has to have already existed and doesn't need anybody's help, to create universe.

And if something can come into being from nothing, then why don't we see this happening all the time?

Rabbits, Cars, Suns begin to exist from nothing.

Everything we know in universe and earth can pop suddenly from nothing.

    Leaving into nothingness

Since everything Humans, Animals, atoms, stars can suddenly pop out of nothing.

This also indicate the opposite, everything in the existence, can suddenly disappear to nothing.

    Complete Nothingness

I need to define what is meant by ‘nothing’. Nothing is defined as the absence of all things. Which indicates absence of 2 things:

    1) Everything, all matter, energy and potential, were to vanish; (not to be confused with the quantum vacuum or field, see later)

    2) Absence of any causal condition. A causal condition is any type of cause that produces an effect. This can be material or non-material.

    Against Reason

Asserting that things can come from nothing means that things can come into being from no potential, no matter or nothing at all. To assert such a thing defies our intuitions and stands against reason.

    Against math

So, could the universe have come into existence from nothing?

The obvious answer is no, because from nothing, nothing comes.

Nothingness cannot produce anything. Something cannot arise from no causal conditions whatsoever.

Another way of looking at it is by way of simple math. What is 0 + 0 + 0? It is not 3, it’s 0.

    Absurd Start

If someone can claim that the entire universe can come from nothing, then the implications would be absurd.

They could assert that anything could come into being without any causal conditions at all. For something to arise from nothing it must have at least some types of potential or causal conditions.

Since nothing is the absence of all things, including any type of causal condition, then something could not arise from nothing.

    Absurd End

Maintaining that something can arise from nothing is logically equivalent to the notion that... Things can vanish, decay, annihilate or disappear without any causal conditions whatsoever...

Individuals who argue that something can come from nothing must also maintain that something can vanish from no causal conditions at all.

For example, if a building completely vanished, such individuals should not be surprised by the event...

Because if things can come from no causal conditions at all, then it logically implies that things can vanish by no causal conditions as well. However, to argue that things can just vanish without reference to any causal condition would be rationally absurd.

    Quantum Vacuum

A common contention is that the universe could come from nothing because in the quantum vacuum particles pop into existence.

This argument assumes that the quantum vacuum is nothing. However, this is not true.

The quantum vacuum is something; it is not an absolute void and it obeys the laws of physics. The quantum vacuum is a state of fleeting energy. So, it is not nothing, it is something physical.

For debunking of Professor Lawrence Krauss’s book, A Universe from Nothing, where he deceived people in this book, and there was actually something and not pure nothing, only for sophisticated philosophical arguments, see details at the end of this chapter

    3. Self-created?

    Impossibility

Could the universe have created itself? The term ‘created’ refers to something that emerged, and therefore it was once not in existence.

Another way of speaking about something being created is that it was brought into being. Understanding the concept of creation leads us to conclude that self-creation is a logical and practical impossibility.

This is because self-creation implies that something was in existence and not in existence at the same time, which is impossible.

Something that emerged means that it once was not in existence; however, to say it created itself implies that it was in existence before it existed!

And if something does not exist, how can it be described as having power, and how could it create anything? How could it do anything? Since these arguments are refuted then it is established that they have a creator, so let them believe in Him.

    Mother example

Was it possible for your mother to give birth to herself? To claim such a thing would suggest that she would have to be born before she was born. When something is created, it means it once did not exist, and therefore had no power to do anything.

So to claim that it created itself is impossible, as it could not have any power before it was created to create itself. This applies to all finite things, and that includes the universe too.

    Asexual reproduction?

Can self-creation be found in single-celled organisms, also known in biology as asexual reproduction?

    1) This is not self-creation, but a mode of reproduction by which offspring arise from a single organism and inherit genes of that parent only.

2)If we logically extend this to the universe, it assumes that the universe always existed,

Because for asexual reproduction to occur you need a parent that existed prior to the offspring. Therefore, this proves that; the universe once never existed, so it could not bring itself into existence.

    4. Created by something else that was created? -If God Created everything, Who created GOD?

    Causality argument:

Everything that has a beginning needs a cause. God does not have a beginning therefore God doesn't need a cause. I wouldn't say everything has been created and then say but God doesn't have a Creator.

I would say everything that begins to exist has a Creator and God did not begin to exist.

God is the first and the last. No Beginning No End.

And the only one that has been there for eternity so that question only applies to finite limited beings not to God.

Creator loop/ (example of an infinite regress of causes):

Was the universe created by something else created? For argument’s sake, let’s answer yes The questioning person will undoubtedly ask, Then, what created that thing? If we were to answer, Another created thing. What do you think he would say? Yes, you guessed right: What created that thing?

This we have infinite loop of endless creators. A Creator was made by another Creator is made by another Creator and so on.

If this ridiculous dialogue continued forever, then it would prove one thing: the need for an uncreated creator.

Why? Because we can’t have created thing, like the universe, being created by another created thing in an unlimited series going back forever. It simply does not make sense. It must stop at one point if we go indefinitely, at independent, self-sufficient, necessary being which is God.

    Phone production argument

Let’s say I want to create a phone. I made a new design. I’m just an employer. I give it to my lv1 boss to ask his permission to make this new design.

Then my immediate boss, asks permission of higher boss, which in return ask permission of higher boss. We can’t never go on forever, we have to end at one time, of the final boss, who is independent and necessary and can take action.

If we have infinite bosses, then since we will never reach infinity, then no phone will ever be produced. Thus, our example illustrates the rational flaw in the idea of an infinite regress of causes.

When we apply this to the universe, we have to conclude that it must have had an uncreated creator.

Impossibility of infinity does not exist in real world.

Consider if this universe, U1, was created by a prior cause, U2, and U2 was created by another cause, U3, and this went on forever.

We wouldn’t have universe U1 in the first place. Think about it this way, when does U1 come into being? Only after U2 has come into being. When does U2 come into being? Only after U3 has come into being.

This same problem will continue even if we go on forever, because U1 existence depends on Infinity to exist first. The ability of U1 to come into being was dependent on a forever chain of created universes, U1 would never exist.

    Summary

The universe, which is a created thing, could not be created by another created thing, ad infinitum.

If that were the case this universe would not exist. That’s in addition

the universe is finite, & infinite does not exist in real world. Since it exists, we can dismiss the idea of an infinite regress of causes as an irrational proposition.

If there is infinite loop of bosses/creators/designers:

Infinite is a concept which doesn’t exist in real world.

So, we can never go forever ad infinitum, we must stop at one creator/ Which is GOD.

If there is this hypothetical infinite loop, the phone/Universe would have never appeared, as I will never get the approval for phone creation. As every boss waiting for approval of his prior boss. So, appearance of phone/universe= no infinite loop existed.

    5. Created by something uncreated?

    Ultimate conclusion:

After refuting all other possibilities, we conclude that everything that exists in universe need an uncaused cause or an uncreated creator. ALLAH The universe is finite. They could not have come from nothing, created themselves, or have been ultimately created by something created. Therefore, they were created by something uncreated.

    Eternal

From above discussion we conclude another thing, is that something must have always existed, which is the attribute of the uncreated creator.

Now there are two obvious choices: God or the universe (the matter).

Since all components of universe is finite, has a beginning, has end, and is dependent, it cannot have always existed.

Since we have ruled out the matter, I would say a Creator independent of matter chose to bring it into existence from nothingness. Because this Creator must be self-sufficient, existing perpetually. Therefore, something that always existed must be God.

    Other attributes

If we look at creation, we can call it a process of building. For something to be built, four characteristics must come together:

What are these? Knowledge, Will, power and life.

Knowledge is the possession of information.

Will is the ability to make choices, without the capacity to
