PREFACE

Dear reader, before you proceed further in digesting every information in this book, I would want you at this juncture to clear your mind of any preconceived notion you might have read or heard in the past, emanating from all inaccurate and improbable superstitious stories about the existence of the universe. I beseech you to prepare your heart and open up your mind for the good seed, the undiluted information in this book, to be sown into your heart so that you can grow to become a fruitful, productive, and successful person in life.

The essence of this book is to challenge any negative idea that might have polluted your mind, thus restraining you from getting the accurate knowledge you need in discovering your descent, your real self, and your full purpose on earth. This generation has experienced many discoveries of our time resulting from the hard work of many researchers and many founders, ranging from the discovery of America, invention of the most sophisticated computers in the world to the discovery of light, but surprisingly, the greatest unsolved puzzle or mystery of our time is the discovery of man.

Who is man? Where is he from? Why is the earth designed for him as habitat? What is the full purpose of man on earth? And how can man achieve this eternal purpose appended to his life on this earth? All answers to these long and solutions-anticipated questions are provided in this book. This book sets in perspective all the necessary facts we need to know about (1) the existence of the universe (the world we all live in ), (2) the source of man (where mankind originated from), and (3) the full purpose of man on earth (the reasons or what we, mankind, are living for on earth). After the expedition through this book, you would have learnt what makes man a unique and distinct being with his full eternal purpose and why man was vested with the full responsibilities of having dominion or leverage over all things on earth as the Creator intended for him so as to become a blissful and successful person he can be in life.

CHAPTER 1

The Existence of the Universe

Let me begin with this question: what is a universe? A universe is all existing matter, which includes space, galaxies, and planets with much emphasis on the earth—the humans’ habitat, the world we live in. As an imaginative human being, can you pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and imagine if there is anything that existed on earth without being made. In fact, when you look at the world around you, one thing you will discover is that the universe displays a magnificent design. The expanse of the sky called the heavens was creatively designed and perfectly stretched out like tent without any pillar holding it, and birds of the air fly across it. The sun, the moon, and the stars were uniquely set on the expanse of the sky to illuminate the earth and to separate the day from the night and to serve as sign to mark seasons, days, and years. What a great mystery that only the Creator himself can only account for!

The water of the sea was perfectly separated from the land and was teemed with creatures of both large and small. The land itself, named as the earth, was perfectly carved out of the water of the sea, teeming with creatures of different sizes and shapes. Subsequently, the earth was magnificently designed to produce vegetations, green grass, seed-bearing plants, and fruit-bearing trees as food for all creatures of the earth, and man was finally and perfectly created to inhabit the earth in meeting the dire need of working the land and taking care of the earth.

Now the question is this: as the universe displays a perfect design and was created in its vast array, who is the perfect divine Designer behind this work of creations? The answer is not far-fetched. That divine Designer is a supreme spiritual being, the self-existing and self-sufficient Almighty God, the Creator of the universe, the Giver of life, and the Father of all. I say this confidently without any apology at all. So why am I being fussy about this? You see, in the past, in the course of discovering who man is and where the world and everything in it stemmed out from, several theories have been propounded, and delusive or imbalanced information has been relayed to man about their existence on earth, and out of ignorance however, man has been tricked and robbed of their original identity in knowing their descent in life, and this ignorance has brought man into complete darkness of knowing who they really are and consequently affect their focus in discovering their purpose on earth. What a pity! The fact is that anyone can invent a theory provided that they have the correct, accurate facts and concrete evidence to test and confirm their hypothesis as theory; otherwise, it will just remain as fallacy.

One of the scientists of our time in his big bang theory made the world to believe in his theory of evolution that life-forms have one common ancestor. He postulated that birds of the air, apes, and all other animals on earth evolved from a larva or worm, and consequently, as a result of this evolution, man happened to be the end product of apes; that is, man is sired by an animal—the so-called ape. This postulate made people rank as old earthers who believe so much in science or in this evolution theory to date to question the existence of God. But in reality, is God a phantom? No. Let God alone be true, and every man that writes any piece paradox to God’s Word remains a liar.

I quite believe that man, as a rational-thinking human being, should have processed this delusive and erroneous information before accepting it into their subtle mind. One thing I have come to realize is that nearly 55 percent of the people on earth are not utilizing their mind power in getting the best result when it comes to the art of decision making. People, out of arbitrariness, always give in to other people’s decisions at the expense of their own. In fact, most people who believe in this kind of fallacy-claimed ludicrous theory know for sure at the back of their minds that God exists, but in their attempt to satiate their lustful desires that they are the master of their own lives, they chose this wrong path of evolution whereas every existing thing in the universe is under the authority of Almighty God. Now let us approach this evolution matter this way: Around us today are thousands of apes, if not millions of them, as the scientist claimed. If man is the end product of apes, how come the apes on this planet have not yet evolved to man and then face extinction? I would want you to pause for a moment and then think about that for a minute or two. Man, out of complacency, has been tricked and lured into ignorance—ignorance about the source of their existence on earth. You see, as far as man is still ignorant of his descent that God is the Creator, his purpose on earth will remain undiscovered. When man discovers his origin in God alone, one thing will happen: man will be able to discover himself and his full purpose on earth. Now the question is this: who are you? Are you an instinctive animal being that evolved from apes without any purpose but just to occupy space on earth? Or are you a spiritual being, perfectly, wonderfully, and uniquely created by the Almighty God, the Creator of the universe, and inspired to meet certain needs or purposes on earth? Based on your personal ethos, I would want you at this juncture to honestly choose where you belong in these two categories of people.

In furtherance to this hypothetical misconception, the critics of the First-cause argument—the cosmological argument, going by the law of cause and effect argued that: If every existing matter in the universe was caused to exist as a result of the infinite ability of the First-cause, that means there was a First-cause—the Creator—God who caused the existence of all existing things in the universe. But on the contrary, however, since no matter could exist from nothingness without being caused that means the First-cause—God must have been caused to exist, and if God needs a cause to exist, He does not exist at all. Hmmm! What a thesis! From my own perspective, this is absolutely no argument at all. Now, let us approach this thesis with this question: what smell does color blue give? Funny question, isn’t it? We need to understand that color blue is not in the category of colors that produce smell, and that means God, the sovereign of the universe, a supreme spirit, is not in the category of anything of matter that needs to be caused to exist because of His self-existent and self-sufficient nature. He existed before all things, and He created the heavens and the earth with everything that dwell in them. It is morally unjust to suppress the truth of God with lies in order to amass cheap wealth or to gain unnecessary fame or honor or any short-lasting publicity; anyone who does that will surely face the wrath of God, which is eternal damnation.

For better understanding of man in relation to God, I must mention here that God, the Creator of the universe and the Giver of life, speaks and cares about His people, all mankind on earth. In fact several years in the past, He gave his instructions through visions—mental picture of divine future, to some men to write down His Words to enable mankind to understand and have good knowledge of Himself and to teach them the best and acceptable way to fellowship with Him, for He always demands for our relationship with HIM, and in this process, forty different male authors recorded His messages on scrolls, and their early writings were called TORAH, being referred to as the laws and prophets. The Torah contains stories that teach us about God’s relationship with the Jewish people, the covenant people of God, so these and the rest of God’s Words recorded on scrolls became known as the scriptures that were later compiled as the booklet of instruction being referred to as the Holy Bible
