    The 16th of December

    *****

Yes, baby, yes! Oh, fuck, yes! said Blake.

I moved my hips with a tiny contented grin on my face. I could see he was getting near. I kept riding him, adjusting myself such that my clit received some attention with each stroke, getting myself closer as well.

Wait, baby. I want to finish on top. He grabbed my hips and rolled smoothly, our bodies still intertwined. He pulled my thighs wide and started to piston into me, hard and fast, producing a slapping sound with each thrust.

    Mmm, I said appreciatively.

Oh-hoh, yesss! he said as he collapsed on top of me, panting hard.

Blake had hopped out of bed and was buttoning his pants in a couple of seconds. I simply laid there, stunned. It was so near.I'd been so near. If he'd only let me remain on top for a little longer... I sat up cross-legged and drew the sheet up to my chest, concealing my nude body, frustrated.

That was great, babe! he said as he pulled his sweatshirt over his head. Let's get going, Lill. I'm starving.

My lips parted in astonishment, and I exhaled a heated breath as I stared at him.

    What? Blake said, shrugging.

Did he not realize I hadn't—

Sorry, baby, he murmured, but his voice was devoid of regret. You just got me so fucking hot and you felt so damn good, I couldn't help it. I'll make it up to you later.

He had to have known, you selfish jerk.I suppose I shouldn't be shocked. It wasn't the first time he'd abandoned me. My mood changed considerably when I sighed loudly. Not in a nice way, either.

Come on, I'm starving, he grumbled.

So, I think he's finished talking about it. I blew air out my nostrils while rolling my eyes.Starving.Yeah.I'm hungry. However, not in the same manner that he was. I took my time, pulling my lanky five-foot-seven-inch body out of bed. Blake simply stood there staring as I stooped down to pick up my clothing off the floor.

    Crack!

Ouch! I asked you not to do that! I yelled, clutching my hurting buttocks where Blake had just hit me.

Hahaha! Aw, c'mon, baby, you know I can't resist your sweet ass, he taunted, wrapping an arm around my slender waist, squeezing my buttocks and kissing me hard.

Thank you very much, I was not in a fun mood. I drew back and lightly shoved Blake's rippling chest. It wasn't difficult, but it was enough to throw him off balance, and he had to take a few steps back to get back on track. His gaze darkened and his lips clenched into a harsh line.

Oh, yes. Is he the one who will be irritated now? Pish. I thought you were in a hurry to get to dinner, I said dryly as I drew up my lace pantyhose. If you don't let me get dressed, we'll never get out of here. I finished fastening my bra and started tugging on my slim pants.

Hurry up, Blake said as he stuffed his arms into the sleeves of his leather jacket. Yep. He was clearly grumpy. Another example of his irritation.

I groaned again and put on my sapphire blue, v-neck sweater, which fit perfectly around my curves and slim waist. While slipping my feet into my knee-high black boots, I hurriedly yanked my Spinpin out of my hair (greatest invention ever, by the way) and re-gathered and repinned it into a haphazard pile on top of my head. I snatched my black wool coat from the back of Blake's chair, stepped past him, opened his dorm room door, and marched into the hallway. Coming? I pretended to be kinder than I felt.

Pfft, he exclaimed. Stalking out of the room, he yanked on his door, letting it to smash as he marched straight by me, without pausing to wait for me. And he went along the corridor.

I sighed again, tightened my teeth, and stepped behind him. I didn't even bother trying to catch up with him.

    *****

Once we were outside Blake's dorm, he slowed down sufficiently for me to catch up with him. We strolled in quiet for the whole seven minutes to the cafeteria. Following our I.D. While the cards were being examined, I playedfully pulled on the sleeve of his coat. I wasn't pleased, but I wanted to attempt to smooth things up with him before we sat down at the table with our friends. I didn't want to go public with our problems.

He either didn't see or disregarded my motion because he moved away, his sleeve slipping through my fingers as he said over his shoulder, I'll meet you at the table, and then he was off surveying the day's goods.

I bit the inside of my bottom lip, which is a nasty habit of mine. I do it so often that I've developed a callous inside my mouth, on the right side, just below my lip, where I always pull my skin between my teeth when I'm frightened or thoughtful. I was scanning the cafeteria at the time.

We nearly usually got together with Blake's roommate Logan, his girlfriend Kirstin, and Sophie, my closest friend and roommate. Those were the regulars, although we were often joined by other friends or acquaintances. Sophie had gone home for the weekend, so I went in search of Logan.

The cafeteria was packed for a Saturday morning, but that was probably due to the fact that it was the last weekend of the semester and the weekend before exams, so more students remained on campus. It was difficult to find Logan's brown hair amid a sea of mostly—brown hair. But what set him apart was that, although he kept the side of his hair short, he let the chocolate locks on top a bit longer, highlighting his natural curls and allowing them to fall down his forehead.

I eventually found his profile after over a minute of searching.
