About this ebook
In the enthralling dance of love, sometimes the heart leads us astray, and passion collides with the unexpected. To fall in love with the wrong person is an evolving tale of twists and turns, where desire takes centre stage, leading our dreams down a path they never anticipated.
Torn between two worlds, Ange stands at the crossroads of her heart's journey. Henry, the Greek scholar, represents a future rich in intellect and wisdom. At the same time, on the other side stands Thomas, the embodiment of her first love, layered with memories and familiarity. As Ange grapples with the delicate balance between intellect and emotion, she must navigate the internal loops of her heart's desires and make a choice that will shape her destiny.
This evolving tale explores the twisted dance of love and the ideal decisions one must make when passion forms from unexpected corners.
But what happens when one makes the choice that isn't in the story?

Angelic Goddess - Claire Yahya
Maybe the moon is beautiful only because it’s far.
.one.
Ange sat in the library as she was reading through her unfinished essay that was due by the end of the day.
The more you read it the more it won’t make sense.
Chloe took the paper away from the girl before she read through it herself. And stop stressing. Professor Barnes adores you.
Not for any good reason.
She took the paper back from her friend. It’s only because I speak French and come from a place outside of Canada.
Oh, boo whoo. Professor Barnes is from London himself. I think he is quite fond of the European countries just fine.
She hummed before she signed off her name at the top of her paper. Anyway, are you coming to James’s party tonight? He would love for you to come.
She looked at the woman opposite her. Oh, don’t give me that look.
I’m not giving you any look.
She raised her eyebrows.
Come on, it’s said to be fun. And besides, you need to meet some new people. You’re still technically new after all.
She looked at her paper before she placed it down. And trust me when I say the Canadians love international students.
She shook her head a little at her friend.
Fine. What time?
She smiled before she leaned forward.
Eight and don’t be late. I have a few people I want to introduce you to.
She rolled her eyes before laughing as her friend skipped out of the library.
Papa.
Ange walked down the corridor until she got to her father’s study. Papa?
No answer.
Achilles meowed before he rubbed his body against her leg and she sighed a little. She picked the cat up, kissing his little face before she walked over to write a note to her father.
Gone out
Be back before midnight
Aphrodite xxx
She kissed Achilles once more before she left the house.
Ange you made it.
Ange smiled at James as he approached the woman.
I knew if I didn’t come I wouldn’t hear the end of it from Chloe.
That’s damn right.
She laughed a little as Chloe hugged her from the side. Come. I want to introduce you to some people.
She nodded before she let her pull her by her hand toward a group; two men and two women. Everyone, this is Ange. She is from France.
She smiled at the group. Ange, this is Richard, Aaron, Mary and Lily.
She waved toward the group as they smiled at her. Oh, Aaron is James’s cousin by the way. That’s why they look alike.
Ah, yes. My good ‘old’ cousin.
James put his arm around Aaron’s shoulders.
I’m only four years older.
Are you also from Mexico?
He nodded at the woman.
We grew up together.
Sounds nice.
It was very much nice.
James kissed Aaron’s cheek making the man crinkle his nose before he was rushing to say hello to some newcomers.
Are you fully French?
She looked at Lily.
Half. My father’s Greek.
She looked impressed.
I’ve always wanted to visit Greece.
It’s a nice place.
Were you born there?
She nodded at Mary.
Me and my brothers.
Oh, you have brothers?
Two. Much older than me.
The two nodded at the woman.
Say Ange, do you smoke?
Richard held up a pre-rolled joint.
Depends who’s asking.
He smiled at the woman.
I like her already. We’re going to get along just nice.
She smiled at him and laughed a little.
I have the same feeling.
Ange walked down the library aisles as she was looking for a certain book. She was humming a little to herself when she walked down an aisle and noticed a rather tall and broad man. He was wearing glasses and had a thick coat on. He was reading through a book as he slowly narrowed his eyes at certain words he was glancing over.
He was very much an aesthetic to look at.
She looked through the shelves to distract her mind as she had completely forgotten what she had been looking for upon coming across the mystery man. She looked through the book names to find out that she was looking through anatomy.
That was definitely not an interest of hers.
Ange!
Her head shot to Chloe as she rushed over to her. I was looking for you.
She hummed and picked up a book about the leg muscles. One of the boys is asking about you?
Who?
No one interesting. Just one of the graduates.
Oh, Ryan.
She nodded and smirked at her before poking her side making her hit her arm with the book she had been flipping through.
Are you going to talk to him?
No, I rather not.
He’s from the South of Spain.
Not all Spanish men are that good-looking. I hope you know that.
I wouldn’t know. You’re the first international friend I’ve had.
She smiled at the woman.
That was kind of sweet.
She laughed a little.
Well, I just came over to tell you that he was asking about you.
She hummed unimpressed. I’ll call you later tonight.
Are you leaving already?
She nodded.
I promised my mother I would call before dinner.
She slowly nodded as her friend started walking backwards slowly before she gestured to the unknown man and widened her eyes. She laughed a little as she shook her head at her before she put the book she had taken out back into its place on the shelf. She turned around before she looked through the shelf and saw the book she had come in for. It was sitting on the top shelf. She clicked her tongue before she narrowed her eyes at the book. She was flipping a coin in her head; ask the tall boy or reach for the book herself.
It settled on both somehow and she sighed a little.
Did you want a book?
She turned her head to the man’s deep voice. It was rather rough she noticed.
Uh, yeah. It’s the purple cover.
He nodded before he stepped forward and easily took the book off the shelf, holding it out to her. Thank you.
He hummed at the woman before someone called him over. She flipped through the book as she slowly started walking the other way.
Now that wasn’t so hard after all.
Papa, do you know many students at Waltham?
Michael looked over the paper he had been marking from one of his students.
Why do you ask?
Ange shrugged her shoulders.
There are some odd students around and like the rare attractive man here and there.
That’s Waltham Village for you darling. It’s a mixture. Scholarship, rich, people just getting by, everyone is welcome.
Except into your classes?
He laughed under his breath. You only accept people who can pass some impossible test.
That’s because my classes are very special to me.
More special than me?
No, not more special than you.
She hummed as she looked at her father. That’s why I wanted you to come here. So we could be close.
She smiled at him.
I hope you know that I’m not joining your classes for special privileges. I’m very content about studying on my own.
He laughed a little.
You’ve told me many times darling. I respect the commitment to do things on your own. You remind me of myself when I was your age. I was always wanting to do things by myself with no help. Maybe that’s how I ended up delusional.
She laughed at her father’s teasing comment about the rumours that were heard around the college about him.
You’re by far delusional Papa.
He smiled warmly at his daughter.
Thank you my darling.
No, no, no.
Ange hit the steering wheel of her car as it started to smoke and she pulled off onto the side of the road. "Why
