Chapter 1 

Humphrey the dragon flexed his wings and shook his little body, trying to shake away the nervousness he felt. He was excited, but the nervousness kept growing inside him too. Humphrey didn’t want his friends to think he was not brave, so he was trying to act like he felt completely fine. If Humphrey had looked at his friends right then, he would have seen that they were all doing the same thing, feeling the same way. 

The weather was delightfully warm. The sky was a brilliant blue and Humphrey thought it must be the
