QUEENSBERRY

My parents met on the beach at Queensberry Bay when they were just teenagers. Later, they bought a house there and raised a young family – me, Mum, Dad, my older brother Matty and our never-ending entourage of friends we used to invite over.

My fondest childhood memories are from that house, with its wrap-around deck and beautiful view of the point. Queensberry sits inside a tight bay surrounded by steep dunes that are populated with indigenous coastal milkwood
