About this ebook
Rod and Brenda. A seemingly normal couple, living in a seemingly normal neighborhood on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon.
But Rod and Brenda hunt monsters. Fight to keep Portland safe from creatures that haunt the night. Like the vampire that just moved in down the block. Only the one vampire. Not a problem for them, right?
Wrong. And perhaps already too late…
"Young Monster Hunters in Love" – a chilling and romantic short story of dark urban fantasy with a twisted kind of vampire. From Stefon Mears, author of The House on Cedar Street and Hunting Monsters.

Brenda said, sending a snip of big toenail high into the air before it landed on their good purple sheets. Saw the moving van. D’you check it out?
Yep.
Rod decided the shirt was still in good shape – at least as good as the old Star Wars shirt he was wearing with his baggy gray sweats – so he whipped it through a quick triple fold, and laid it on top on a gray Monster Magnet shirt. Vampires.
What type?
Snip. Another clipping leapt through the air.
"Well, vampire really." Rod folded three Timbers Army shirts in quick succession, cursing the fates that she cut right to the one question he didn’t want to answer. How did she always do that?
Rod cleared his throat, and tried to evade the question.
