"Commander, we're approaching the rendezvous coordinates," Lieutenant Hargreaves reported, his voice cutting through the silence like a knife.

Elena nodded, her gaze fixed on the stars. "Any sign of the Tempest?"

"Not yet, ma'am. But they should be here any minute."
