About this ebook

Jesus commands us to "forgive as we have been forgiven,"  but forgiveness is hard!  We often don't know how or where to begin;  it's especially challenging for those of us from dysfunctional families, or otherwise traumatic backgrounds.

Satan, the enemy, is counting on our stubborn refusal to ever forgive, but with "A Way to Forgiveness and Closure," we learn to let go of the past by changing the way we think - and feel - about it.  This process is natural, and self-directed, designed to be completed at your own pace.

"I'm now ispired to begin the process of journaling to begin healing. Thank you, thank you." Kelly M.

"I found it very inspirational. Very honest and relatable." - Michelle F.

"It forced me to take a new perspective on faith. I like how you provide a template for self-discovery." - Mike G.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN the Bible tells us that we are made in God’s image?  We know that we have a triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While it’s been taught that we have a spirit, a soul, and a body, in my opinion, the categories of mind/body/spirit are a better fit: mind/consciou-sness/God the Father or Mind of God, Body/Son/Jesus, Spirit/Holy Spirit, soul. Within this paradigm, I equate Soul with Spirit; I have yet to be convinced that these are two separate things.

Humans are complex, and complicated. Although we see some commonalities (archetypes) in the human experience, we are as individual as snowflakes. That being said, the human psyche is shaped by life experience, and trauma leaves it’s imprint. When it comes to thorny spiritual problems, a one-size-fits-all approach leaves many of us behind.

Along with our five senses, God imbues us with emotion, the ability to feel with our hearts. As we grow and develop, we learn that to truly understand something, we often need to to go beyond the dry, intellectual data points, and add to it our own personal experience. We learn by doing, and experience, in a process often referred to as the school of hard knocks. Even then, knowing in our hearts is not enough, as we are often fooled; suffice it to say that human beings possess an innate capacity to resonate with an event with the fullness of their
