About this ebook
Life is just another day
When time becomes an illusion, my memories will start to fade. Here I see that endless abyss where the threads of time intersect and tear apart. So, I decided to write my memoirs before they are erased from history and turn into ashes scattered by the wind in all directions.
Death! We will all die, no one escapes death but how do we survive from life? Well, I survived, or rather chose to survive, before the king requests my hand in marriage from my father, or should I say, "He's asking for my head"? I have decided to volunteer to marry the king to save the virgins from inevitable death.
For those who have never met me before, or perhaps don't remember who Scheherazade is, I am the main character and narrator in the tales of One Thousand and One Nights. My story revolves around a young king named Shahryar who ruled an ancient kingdom in Persia. The king, who had been betrayed by his beloved and his first wife, became bloodthirsty and, driven by revenge, decided to marry a virgin every night and order her execution in the morning.
I was the daughter of the vizier, the beautiful and wise girl named Scheherazade, whose name had already been written on the king's death list, but I was different; I possessed something that the beautiful virgins, whose heads rolled at the feet of the king, did not have. I had intelligence and wisdom, I managed to stay alive thanks to my wisdom and the imaginative stories I told the king every night.
Between narratives, poetry, and riddles that captivated the king's ears, I also toyed with intermittent silence to keep him in suspense. And so, one night turned into a thousand and one nights.
Thousands of nights passed, during which the king forgot his wife's betrayal, the bloodshed, and the execution of innocent virgins.
And I lived...
I lived not a night but a thousand nights!

For the glory of women
We find ourselves suspended between the wisdom of the mind and the innocence of the heart, rebels for all time, untamable spirits
This is what Scheherazade left unspoken as she fell into a momentary silence to start her journey.
Nothing is guaranteed, nothing lasts forever. The only thing that will stay with you forever is your shadow. However, in any case, it has never happened before that a woman died from loneliness, betrayal, divorce, and spinsterhood. We will all survive.
