About the Author
Where Hast Thou Thy Poets Gone?
Where hast thou thy poets gone?
There used to be so many
Have they taken Frost’s road—
Or have they merely gone to and fro?
Since, they write in stanza bittersweet,
We hear their language never told,
Never hear timeless ends of stories old.
Were Emily’s words, for the present, too petite?
Is life a stage? Does Death wear masks?
We fear change—
We feel pain—
But do we see the immortal human story?
Long gone have our poets been,
Their forgotten language now dead
Their stories forever unread
Are our greatest sin-
Where have thou thy poets gone?
There used to be so many
The Silhouette Girl
In the twilight I wander
Down the lively mountains
to the sleepy valley
There, I think
There, I dream
Dwelling on times of joy
The trees give way to dark, yet the sky glows orange
Like looking through curved glass
The valley bevels in the air
Then I see her dancing among other shadows—
As if she is one with the landscape
Though I know not what kind eyes she
