Introduction: What are your names?
Int. Fade in: The camera pans through the front door of a large house into the living room where the group has already found a seat.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Rebecca and today I am going to interview a group of lazy slobs. What are your names?
Art: I’m Art.
Richard: I’m Richard.
Tommy: My name is none of your damn business.
Ruben: Hey my name is Ruby, okay girlfriend?
Rebecca: Whatever freak.
Bart: Who cares what my name is because after this is over, I’ll have you calling me, Daddy.
Rebecca: Yeah right.
Ray: I’m Ray.
Brandon: I’m Brandon.
Rebecca smirked at Bart's comment and turned towards Ray, her eyes piercing through his. He felt a shiver run down his spine as he met her gaze.
Rebecca: So Ray, tell me. What brings you here today?
Ray cleared his throat nervously, Uh, just wanted to hang out with the guys and have a good time.
Rebecca raised an eyebrow, Is that all? Or is there something else that you're hiding?
Ray shifted uncomfortably in his chair. He knew exactly what she was alluding to. The party last weekend had gotten out of hand and he had ended up sleeping with Rebecca. It was a mistake, he knew it, but he couldn't help the attraction he felt towards her.
Rebecca leaned in closer, trailing a finger along the collar of his shirt. You know you can tell me anything, Ray.
Before he could respond, the sound of breaking glass interrupted their conversation. They turned to see Tommy stumbling out of the room, knocking over a lamp in the process.
Rebecca rolled her eyes, Typical. Anyway, back to our conversation.
But Ray's mind was elsewhere. He couldn't shake the memory of Rebecca's touch and the fire that had burned between them. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't resist her any longer.
Without a second thought, he leaned in and kissed her deeply. Her response was immediate as she parted her lips and met his with equal fervor.
Rebecca leaned back in her chair and took a deep breath. She needed to keep her cool, even though these guys were getting on her nerves.
So, why have you been called lazy slobs?
she asked, trying to sound calm.
Tommy looked at her with a smirk. Because we are lazy slobs,
he said.
Rebecca rolled her eyes. Well, why don't you tell me a little bit about what you do all day?
she asked, trying to steer the conversation back on track.
Art spoke up first. I like to paint,
he said. But I mostly just sit around all day and watch TV.
Richard nodded in agreement. Yeah, same here,
he said. I've been binge-watching 'Breaking Bad' for the past week.
Rebecca sighed. This was going nowhere. She looked at Bart, hoping he had something more interesting to say.
Daddy likes to play rough,
he said, winking at her.
Rebecca frowned. This was not what she had been expecting. She glanced over at Ray and Brandon, who were both looking down at their feet.
Well, what about you two?
she asked.
Ray spoke up hesitantly. We...uh...we like to work out,
he said.
Brandon nodded in agreement. Yeah, we hit the gym every day.
Rebecca raised an eyebrow. This was unexpected. Maybe there was more to these guys than she thought.
Okay, that's interesting,
she said. Tell me more about your workouts.
Rebecca smirks before beginning the interview, So, gentlemen, what brings you all here today?
Art clears his throat, We’re here for a study on the effects of video gaming on mental health.
Rebecca raises an eyebrow, Interesting. And how do you plan to conduct this study? By sitting on your butts all day playing video games?
Richard rolls his eyes, No. We have a variety of tests and surveys planned.
Tommy scoffs, Speak for yourself man. I plan on winning this tournament and cashing in.
Ruben nods in agreement, Hell yeah. I need that money to finally get outta here.
Bart leans forward with a toothy grin, But most importantly, we’re here to show you what real men can do.
Rebecca rolls her eyes, Well, we’ll see about that.
As the interview continues, Rebecca can’t help but feel a growing attraction to Bart’s bad boy persona. She tries to resist it, knowing that it’s unprofessional and could jeopardize the study. But as the group settles in for a long day of gaming, Rebecca finds herself drawn to Bart’s confident demeanor and piercing gaze.
As the hours pass by, the group becomes more raucous and rowdy. Drinks are poured and inhibitions are lowered. Rebecca feels a growing desire towards Bart as he inches closer and closer towards her.
Rebecca looked around the room at the group of men sitting in front of her. She had expected a rowdy bunch, but the crude comments and rude behavior were almost unbearable.
She cleared her throat, attempting to regain control of the interview. Alright then, let's get started. So, what makes you think you're fit for this job?
she asked.
Art spoke up first, Well, I'm a hard worker and I always make sure my tasks are completed to the best of my ability.
Richard nodded in agreement, Same here. I'm also great at problem-solving and thinking on my feet.
Tommy rolled his eyes, I don't know why I'm even here. This is a waste of my time.
Ruben leaned forward, his chest puffed out as he spoke, I may not look like it, but I have a strong work ethic. Plus, I can lift just about anything you need me to.
Bart smirked at Rebecca, And I have talents that go beyond just working hard. You'll see what I mean.
Rebecca resisted the urge to roll her eyes. She knew exactly what kind of 'talents' Bart was referring to.
Ray chimed in next, I have experience in managing people and delegating tasks efficiently.
Brandon nodded enthusiastically, And I'm a quick learner. Give me any task and I'll master it within hours.
Rebecca scribbled down notes as each man spoke. While she didn't agree with their behavior or attitudes towards women, she had to admit that some of them seemed promising for the job.
Do any of you have a job?
Rebecca: Do any of you have a job?
Everyone
